FYI Tuaregs are a small minority (few tens of thousands) of nomads that live isolated in the Sahara desert and heavily mixed with Black Africans, they cannot be considered as a representative of the real Berbers. Tuaregs never been to Spain or part of the Muslims in Andalusia.

Pure Berbers are white and most closely related to Celts and Basques. Many pure Berbers have red-hair and green eyes. Mulatto Berbers are a result of breeding with black slaves.

Moor from Gk. Mauros, perhaps a native name, or else cognate with mauros "black" (but this adj. only appears in late Gk. and may as well be from the people's name as the reverse). Being a dark people in relation to Europeans, their name in the Middle Ages was a synonym for "Negro;" later (16c.-17c.) used indiscriminately of Muslims (Persians, Arabs, etc.) but especially those in India.
