I love Rakka. If I was a Haibane I'd be asking the exact same question as her like what's over the wall. I bet they tell you whats over the wall in the book or show you but im rewatching the series and they never showed it in the end. I think the village is floating on lnd in the sky and when haibane have there day of flight they fly in the air away from the floating village

This is by far one of my favourite series. The philosophy and sheer emotion of it brings me back to watching it again and again on dvd. Never growing old, never tiring!

I know why most people love Rakka so much, but my favourite has always been Hikaru. The poor girel didn't get much of a storyline, which was sad to see

This show was created as a Japanese language anime. Lots of animes from Japan are popular among americans and are either viewed with "dubbed" or added english captions maintaining the original japanese audio or a new english audio recording. This recording is done by english speaking actors. The script etc. was translated as best as possible. I love this "english dub" version.

dub means the voice actors speak english, as translated (all too often roughly) sub means the original japanese dialogue is there but with captions so that people who can't understsnd japanese can watch the show

Theres this new thing called a question mark. Let me show you how it works. I want to ask a question, like say... "Shouldn't you have been aborted?" and then I would end it with one of these: "?". Simple.

There's also this thing called an apostraphy. You use it when using contractions (ie two words combined to form a shorter, simpler word of the same meaning)

An example - "Theres this new thing called a question mark."

It was originally in Japanese, and was translated into English and released in America.
