This is a little more than i used to deal with. There is an energy tech that is banned by the monopoly of fuel and usage. If we had it we would have a more vital; less "main lining" kind of economy. It's not what it does so much as what it doesn't do. It doesn't throw away heat energy, and it's actually much simpler than what we use today. Is our energy technology purposefully bad? i am unhappy to say that it has been for 100 years. If it's not "heat chucking in nature" it's not legal.

Actually Charlie, crashing real estate prices are a positive correction. The same is not yet happening in Europe i believe.
Greece is a basket case. There the problem is the "public sector." That's not really the case anywhere else. Ireland and Iceland were world's least indebted public economies before crises. (Not anymore, of course).

What will happen on the stock markets around the world in the beginning of the next week if Bernanke is vague an does not say anything about further QE or other forms of stimulus? The next few weeks could be a real mess on Wall street. Let us hope it will. The question I have is: Does Ben Bernanke really dare NOT to present anything which will "calm" the markets? How in the hell could we have let the words of one man decide if the markets will rise or crash? The world has gone absolutely MAD!!!

OR will thing just keep rocking along on a steady decline. My worst fear is that in just a few short months or years we could find ourselves in a bitter war as a result of world wide currency devaluation and hyperinflation with food shortages.
