Why would they have believed it was false I believed this when I first heard it on fox news(I should have known better). But what the democrats did not do is push this story on the media before having any valid information from the police confirming the attack. What the Mccain camp and fox news did wrong is, they reported this before all the information was know from the police, they did not investigate it or look at it critically before putting it out there as proven truth.
