I started watching General Hospital in 2007, and so the only Lucky I've ever known was Greg Vaughn. So this sucks for me... I don't like this Lucky :( It's like a whole new character. Not liking it.

@spirit2fusion Well now you know how some of us felt about Lucky when Greg Vaughan took over the role. Not only did he lose his Spencer, he lost his brain too. I didn't like HIS Lucky. THAT was a new character and a pale, pale version of who Lucky Spencer was and should have been!

I'm not a regular viewer by any means, but I must say this is a great decision on GH's part. The last two Luckies have been too old for the role. Genie Francis is 48. Greg Vaughan is 37. Baaaad math. I always really liked Jackson as Lucky, and that definitely hasn't changed. Also, I think he's pretty. :D

when JJ left GH back then ,Anthony wanted to leave also. he even said he could not work with anyone else. but greg was not too bad. but I am so happy JJ is back. thanks for bringing JJ back to GH. Jonathan is a total fox and the chemistry between him and Liz is fantastic!!

thats why JJ is the best lucky....he captures the real essence and complexities of his character from luke and laura....lucky can be the sensitive, street-smart, witty, and confident. the character he created had this whole self assurance thing about him. hes the best and only actor that could be lucky. no offense to the other actors, they were good, but they were never "lucky" in my eyes.

The whole reason I started watching GH back in the 90's was because of Jonathan. The episode where we were all lead to believe he died in a fire DEVISTATED me! It's neat he's returning to GH, but I am glad he had the opportunity to stretch his legs in other venues. I hope returning to GH is really what Jonathan wants as an actor. Whatever he does, he'll do great, and God bless him!

The new Lucky seems too soft spoken, especially if he's a cop. Luke's other kids are are more aggressive. Maybe Lucky is supposed to be more like his mother, Laura.

he is more like his mother Laura. But back in the day when JJ played Lucky he was wanted to be his dad. He was smart, aggressive, but he was always sensitive like his mother. That's what made him the best Lucky.

I am so glad he is back the last 2 Lucky's were so BLAH they tried too hard at acting... Greg was ok...dunn get me wrong but JJ is the best... He acts far more natural and realistic.

Hopefully he takes Lucky's character in a new direction. A much needed direction that is.

He is the ORIGINAL lucky. You should really watch some of his older scenes... He is not whinny he's just really really good in intense scenes, angry or sad. That scene with Luke is like a mix of both. He is a phenomenal actor.

He left the show to do other things, he played in movies and he also guest starred in Sarah Conner Chronicals as JOHN CONNER.

He is a successful actor.
