I'd rename the award "The Golden Freezer" in honor of Congressman William Jefferson(D-LA), and give them out to the following crooks: Rep. Barney Frank(D-MA), Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), Senator Chris Dodd(D-CT) ,Senator Kent Conrad(D-ND) and former governor, Eliot Spitzter(D-NY).

I nominate Sam the Wurzelbacher, aka 'Joe the Plumber', for the "Golden Douche" award.

'Joe' is a total fraud who misrepresented himself and deliberately mislead the public in a variety of ways.

For example, he demonstrated a total lack of integrity during his guest appearances on talkshows across America where he made grossly misleading statements regarding Sen. Obama's tax policy.

This, despite the fact that Sen. Obama very carefully and graciously explained his tax policy to him.

Now phoney Joe complains that the media has mistreated him because someone went through his trash, and then aired his very dirty laundry.

Since searching trash cans is a classic tactic of 'dirty tricks' operations conducted by 'real' Republican 'plumbers', I'm almost tempted to point out the obvious irony, but I'll do my best to just let it pass.

But yeah, Sam the Wurzelbacher deserves a Golden Douche award.

I, Sarah Palin, nominate Martin Eisenstadt for a Golden Duke Award. Mr. Eisenstadt is a senior fellow at the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy, who is best known for perpetrating the greatest hoax of the past election.

While I, personally, don't find his schtick very funny, he has progressed satire to a whole new level. I have called him , "unprofessional", a "jerk", and a "coward", also. While these are harsh words, they are nothing compared to what I've called him in private.
