Catholicism vs Islam? That's like asking someone if they want to be shot or stabbed. All religions without exception are based on unquestioning credulity. Also, didn't jesus supposedly say that he would cause a father to detest his son, for one's love must be centered around him? Factor in the countless verses telling us the many "sins" that warrant an execution, and I'd say that the bible is a pretty fucked up moral code.

Also, didn't jesus supposedly say that he would cause a father to detest his son, for one's love must be centered around him? @universialpasserby22 The declaration of independence means absolutely nothing. It did only what its name claimed, by declaring to no longer be a british colony. It's the Constitution that establishes the powers and limitations of the government.

Coming from a true Catholic, any Catholic who rejects the teachings of the magisterium excommunicates themselves and a subject to the fires of hell. Islam is a heresy.

@MrDentmedo Nothing false about it, I watched it happen on video. In Egypt the Islamic police set cars on fire than pushed them into a Eucharistic procession (you know what that is right?). They said the Coptic gathered were holding weapons (crosses). An Islamic school administrator just got a group of Muslim kids to beat a Coptic child to death due to his necklace crucifix and wrist cross tattoo. It was such a horrible beating it was a closed casket!

@MrDentmedo Muslims that justify their brutal actions by saying its Christians converting are foolish in the extreme. The Christian populace is such a small percentage of the population that it couldn't possibly overpower the Muslim majority. Most of the middle east was Christian starting about 500 years before Muhammad was born. Islam has a long history of killing the locals than raping the daughters of the survivors, The Coptics built the pyramids! Outcasts in their own home land.

A car bomb exploded after Christmas mass. At least 35 people were killed and 50 people were wounded. Many were burned to death inside their cars.

@helasmoh I think Dawkins is correct and justified for his hatred, and I agree that the world would be a better place without organised religion in the violent and indoctrinated manner it is abused today. But I do not oppose religion or spirituality otherwise. Interesting video, by the way. I don't think it has much relevance, however. Dawkins stated himself in your very own video that it's absolutely possible to believe in both a deity or deities and the evolution theory.

The investigation that was made after the bomb exploded here in the US puts the total of priests who were involved in this horrible crime at .95 percent that is less that 1 percent. Now one case is one case to many, but look at the world we live in today sex permiates our society wether its heterosexual or homosexual sex. We have to think and meditate about us and what are we doing to ourselves.

About the current case of pedophilia in the church well you're kind of right and I say kind of because over 89 percent of the cases dealt with intimate relations with teenage boys, and that is homosexuality, wich is as bad as pedophilia but not pedophilia. The Pope actually defended the knights templar, I can't rememnber his name as of now.
