These speakers(MS-40) or Rotel RA-840 amp with Tannoy's MX-3 floorstanding speakers? Which setup would be better? i mean: not louder i want quality sound
The thing is, houses and neighbourhoods were not meant for loud, rowdy living; that is what going to the city and night clubs are for! A time and a place for everything you know and I love loud and proud music as much as the next person.
I bought these speakers some days ago, to discover that one of them was buzzing on higher volumes. I brought them back to get Edifier S330D, which is like a Bose system compared to MS40.
The MS40 come without any cable whatsoever, it has just a volume on the case itself (who is so unfortunate to have those big speakers at the reach of the hand?)
@PhiberCell Hey man good review, I was thinking of buying these for use with my TV. Could I use the Coaxial in to connect the tv and would the sound be powerful enough. Is the bass good, responsive with good depth??
i got these monitors first they are good for a start right now i got ma self da m-audio bx8a and they are so good i must confess if u get some good money out of your projects get a pair thanks guys
hello i have question what i can connect this speakers to my audio card sb audigy 7.1 oem eax ??? 2 chinch + 1 jack cable or another ??? sorry 4 my english is bad :)
i have an m-audio pobile pre usb audio interface. does the method of connecting the speakers to the interface affect sound quality. so i just plug an rca to jack cable into one of the output jacks at the back of my interface?
i got my speakers today. i connected the rca cable into one of my outputs in the back of my soundcard/audio interface, but music only comes out of the left speaker not the right? how do you connect them to your computer?
Though keep in mind they are monitors and not full range speakers, and as long as you are not expecting them to be full range then you will love them for sure
a full range speaker would play every single frequency in the music, all in one speaker. a non full range speaker would only play certian frequencies. like a subwoofer, or a tweeter. since this is not a full range it probably has a cut off when the frequencies get low, so you dont hear them, and would probably need a sub to play them. so in short: a speaker thats not full range dosnt play all the highs mids and lows. just the ones its sposed to.
The way you said there was a... "problem with delivery" made you sound like a Mafia dude or something. Sounds like you killed the delivery dude haha.

robertcordero1234 5 months ago
@robertcordero1234 yeah they can hook up to m-box, you just need to use an adapter from the jack cables to phono cables... those are super cheap

MasterEBeats 1 year ago
@MasterEBeats Det kan meget nemt slås til med computeren da der er en helt almindelig line indgang hvor du sætter et mini jack til.
Så de virker ud af boxen med en pc.

Yeah there is an optical in on the monitor for the price... but you need to buy the cable yourself.
Its only the power cord thats included

So could i plug these straight into my computer ?
HoodstarDubz 2 years ago
hey does the bass sound pretty good or does it distort or crack when you turn it up thanks
bigboydjs 2 years ago
The bass is alright... not the best...
But its a monitor speaker not a "listening" speaker.
I do recommend these for the new home studio producer, but after awhile you might wanna get new monitors.

which the function of the line ..out to another speaker, exactly?

what's the difference between powered monitor and monitor that doesn't got power jack??
comc39 2 years ago
Powered monitor meaning that there is a build in amp...
So you can run them without using any amp what so ever...

I'm having a problem.
The right speaker even though it has everything plugged in wont play. The left one will play perfectly though. I just got it, too.

@Omegashadowyoshi did you solve the problem??
MDPstr8 1 year ago
@MDPstr8 Kinda. I learned that if you plug it in through RCA it won't buzz

how would i link these up to my computer sound card? or audio interface?
ibloomberg 3 years ago
Well you would need a RCA to Jack cable.
Or you can use optical cable if your soundcard supports that
