and as far as disinfectant goes. you would be better off with hydrogen peroxide or maybe those wipes you can buy almost anywhere called disinfectant wipes. pretty cheap and easy to carry around. all that food and energy drinks no good seeing they usually have a decent amount of sugar (which dehydrates you). stick to pure water it works best. carry some salted peanuts, the sodium will help you retain water and the carbs in it will give you natural energy. pretzels work too

I have similar kit. I have added a 'all in one' wind-up torch, radio & phone charger. Its a small size and no batteries required. Also, i don't bother carrying any money, if the SHTF then it will be no use to you, instead i have a small pouch which contains a very small bottle of vodka, whisky, brandy & two compressed packets of tabocco, life has thought me that men would sell their Grandma to feed their addictions. If you have room I would consider adding a few things, what would it hurt: hardy food like jerky, bandanna, ball cap, pencil and paper, metal cup, map of any area you will cover with your vehicle, wire saw or hand chain saw, pair of old yet still comfortable shoes. I like the Everclear use as a "moral booster".

I wouldn't plan on being able to travel all night to your destination, they might put a curfew down especially during a martial law situation, but good ideas. No one that I've seen has put a bike in their vehicle as an alternate and quicker means of travel than walking, since you have a truck you'd have the room--just a suggestion. I've recently put a small bmx bike in my vehicle as backup.
I carry that metal tape too, it sticks to a wet surface, that stuff is awesome.

i like the bike idea. but i use my truck a lot and dont have the room.
