Nice, also works with Windows Vista. The first one is easier when you make a shortcut to the Start menu on your desktop.

if you set high performance disables the AMD C&Q control (on AMD systems)& put the vga to run @ max without significant improvement. if you let it on balanced enables the C&Q and the vga state remains on x4, obiously changes automatically hen you start gaming

or, you can open Control Panel >> Hardware and Sound, right click on Power Options and click Create shortcut. That will put the shortcut to the power plans on your desktop.
