Personally, I like listening to Miku's singing, not because she is kawaii as all fuck, but because I like her songs and find a lot of them have musical merit of one sort or another. Some of them are deep and philosophical, some are sad and touching, some are cute and lighthearted. The overwhelming similarity, though, is that they are well-written and original.

This song is on the same level as any other song that is sung by real people, the author(s) put their emotions in this song just as much as any other singer and song writer. Also they didn't just get the instrument parts from thin air, it's music. Comparing to Justin Bieber may have been on the extreme, but I chose him because I can appreciate where his talent comes from. Hatsune Miku is easily an acquired taste. I'm trying to broaden my horizons. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. How unrealistic is her voice, I wondered? Maybe I've become a snob after playing in a philharmonic orchestra and knowing the glory of being a part of a LOTR medley. Then there's my own singing in my car that can never compare to artists like Nightwis

@guitarsNswords Her music has taught me a lot. While emotion from the singer is also important, we tend to forget everything else. All the emotion is written in the music. Each instrument tells a part of the story, and together they tell it all. While you can't hear her emotion, you can feel it. Emotion is more than the ear. It is imbedded in the music, the creative mind of the composer. The human voice is also an instrument, Miku reminds us that the voice is a wonderful thing.
