Thank you, Elizabeth May, for taking the time to explain the budget to everyday Canadians who are interested in our country's economic, and even political, future, but are unable to sift through the jargon and bullsh*t to understand it. I for one really appreciate that, and will remember that when the time comes to vote again
The only party leader to clearly take the time to review the budget and put it into terms that I could understand. I didn't hear any petty little comments about the leaders-which I am so sick of! I didn't vote for the Green Party in the last election, but that could change. Thanks Elizabeth May for the review and comments.
I'm a green supporter and I don't think Ms. May would have anything to gain from lying, which leads to my question, why would Harper be so blatantly irresponsible, especially if so much weighs on this budget? I mean he knows as well as anyone else that if his government doesn't weather this recession well it could mean suicide for him in the next election.
What has changed nothing, what we need to do is to improve the life of Canadian buy making it more affordable to live here by becoming more efficient. Conversing energy more green energy projects. Harper is so out of touch with working class Canadians. It is almost as if he want Canadians to loss more jobs.
@mattvaandering Interesting! Liz May says she could not vote for this Budget in the House of Commons--and Canadians ensured that she did not get voted to be in the House of Commons!

At least the budget signals the death of the conservative movement in this country. Hopefully Harper's political career will soon follow.

I think Stephen Harper should be laid off. Maybe he could find a job in the tar sands.
