@2020starman actually the bush admin changed regulations to allow truckers from mexico and canada to travel across our borders into the united states without having to stop and be searched. Aside from not knowing whats on these trucks, the major reason it was such an issue is because mexico does not impose the same restrictions on truckers as the Federal DoT does on ours. They are not required to sleep after a certain amount of hours, their licensing is less strict, they are more dangerous.

More than half china industries have been making counterfeits including military stuffs. Instead of banning counterfeits china gov has expanded them. @2020starman actually the bush admin changed regulations to allow truckers from mexico and canada to travel across our borders into the united states without having to stop and be searched. Aside from not knowing whats on these trucks, the major reason it was such an issue is because mexico does not impose the same restrictions on truckers as the Federal DoT does on ours. They are not required to sleep after a certain amount of hours, their licensing is less strict, they are more dangerous.

Your money (or gold) may not be worth much anywhere. If the US becomes unstable, there's no telling how bad things will get, here and elsewhere around the world. I suspect they'll be worse off than us. We'll be in a world of hurt and ever try to use gold to buy groceries? It (gold) doesn't work well as a currency!

@treetray100, if EVERYONE bought GOLD or SILVER, soon you would not be able to afford to buy ANY of it at all. An ounce of gold would be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Just imagine someone having a few ounces of it at home. How safe would that be? How long before the whole neighborhood decides to STEAL it?
OR....we can all SWITCH TO PLASTIC with embedded RFID chips, and then the BANKS and GOVT will have us exactly where they want us. We'll all be slaves. North Korea and Iran would KILL YOU.

@treetray100, maybe when the price of gold becomes so outrageously expensive that it will no longer be safe to keep any of it at home, we can all take it down to the local BANK so that the "ROTHSCHILDS" as you say, can keep it safe for us. @169pepsi That's why rich people are EXPERTS at keeping their money in "offshore accounts" (I always thought that it was only for rich people btw). If you have an offshore account in another country, our US government can't take the money. I kinda learned all this from infowars. Google infowars and click on "America's most important day in 50 years." It will give all of us a little information on how to protect our money from the government.

Depends on how the new currency is valued. A new institution (equivalent to the federal reserve) would most likely be established and probably run by the same people in charge of all the central banks. That basically means that they could really screw you out of your investment while hording wealth since they'd have total and absolute power to manipulate values and quantities to their liking. The ultimate goal of govt and its RFID technology is not to tell us what to do, but to MAKE US PAY for EVERYTHING we choose to do and charge us a toll, or fee on every place we visit and a TAX on everything, every transaction, every sale. And they will do it without having to pay any govt employee because it will all be automated. Every person and everything they do will be watched by BIG BROTHER. The govt knows that most people are becoming more and more desensitized, numb and accepting of the slow and gradual loss of their individual rights and freedoms. I think that all of this including the endless and unwinnable war on terror is designed to shut us up and to fool us into forfeiting all of our individual rights and preparing us for the coming takeover of America. Yes we should be worried!
