Unbeatons my ass! It should be top 8 or 10. Oregon and boise are ranked ahead of arkansas when oregon lost a game, boise lost today at home. Wtf? Look at there schedules and youll see they dont deserve it! Ark lost to alabama away beg. of the season. BCS sucks overall and it ruins college football. They just dont want top 3 to all be SEC teams when thats how it really is!

All I am gonna say that we need to make a confernce championship for the major conferences that don't have one, Big East, Big 10, and Pac 10. The other thing is, I don't care about Notre Dame's contract with NBC, if you want to be respected some, then join a major conference is what I say. Other than that, I'd say the BCS is doin just fine, some thing we may hate, but until something very weird is to happen, then nothing should be said. Expamle, Nebraska beats Texas this weekend.

Yeah you're right it would be difficult to pay for. No tickets would be sold, and no one would want to sponsor that. And, no one would want to watch it on TV. So geez, paying for it would be nearly impossible!

As for your conf. championship idea, don't forget that everyone in the Pac-10 already plays each other. The season is the conf. championship.

The Pac-10 may play each other but, with teams like Bosie State and Utah saying they diserve a shot at the national championship, so the conference that would be closest to them would be the Pac-10.

If they can beat team like USC, Oregon, Oregon St. and Stanford so on so forth, then they can have their shot for the title in my opinion

The Pac 10 just recently started the "every team plays the other" thing. When USC got the AP title (and LSU got the BCS title that all the BCS schools agreed to recognize), USC didn't even play Oregon who was the next best team in their conference. Big 10 still goes whole seasons with top teams not playing one another.

Well, you have one that does disagree with a college football playoff system, one, how would schools pay for it, and two the BCS was created so teams like USC, Ohio State, and another Pac-10 Big 10 school can play teams from the Big 12, SEC and ACC. One thing that I would like to see is that the Pac-10 and the Big 10 get 12 teams in their conferences along with the Big East and create a conference championship, same thing with the Moutain West, and the WAC

Oh and...the BCS wasn't created so those teams could play each other. The bowls already offered that. The BCS was created to have a "true" #1 vs #2 championship.

Only problem is that deciding who the true #1 and #2 are off the field is a bit of a waste of time. Who would've picked the Arizona Cardinals to be in the Super Bowl?

I did in fact when the playoffs began, did pick the Cardinals to play in the Super Bowl, and the best bet I ever made that year

What I'm saying is in the 90's, we had two, I repeat two national titles shared because the teams couldn't play because one the teams had to play in the Rose Bowl. The teams were Miami and Washingtion in 1992, and Nebraska and Michigan in 1997. Now this system give these teams a chance to play each other for the National Championship

How is it that I'm the only one to give Shamu the thumb down. The BCS sucks and has infuriated me to the point that I'm not watching any bowl games. I'm watching NFL, college basketball and NBA games only because they're enjoyable and they have meaning. If you watch BCS games, you're a tool. I'm sorry to paint with such a broad brush, but I call a spade a spade.
