Ricky does a very good job of making sure the edge is done well. I guess you could filet a fish with it if you had a really big fish. this knife is huge and not flexible at all. it's like a mini-sword.
Good explanation and comparison with the paper and other knife. Looks like quite a sharpening job for something straight out of the box. Did you choose it based on the shobu and fat niku geometry? Could you fillet a fish with it or do you think it's too rigid for that?
pretty sweet weapon. i'm taking a break from swords and buying balisongs now but once i start making money with the cdl i'm going to school for then i'll look into swords also. looks like it cuts pretty good, congrats on the new sword.
