@TheJamesbondsong No real tallent here. Overused sample and transforming to the beat of the music isnt really all that special. If you want to see some REAL tallent, Look up DJ Craze on here and you will see what im talking about......
wow u are good im 11 years old and soon getting my first turntable ill be posting vids so hopefully u can watch and give me some pointers awsome scrathing skills by the way
@joefarrah1 the platters have the allen key screw that locks them down. Loosen the allen screw and raise the platters a little bit to your liking. That should help.
michiskawa- this setup is one piece, all connected. In the front of each turntable is a slot where you can load a cd!! So don't really need a laptop. I really wish I went with this instead of my mixdeck... Fo real
if u dont hav a laptop how do u use this machine 4 music. is there a place 2 put a cd in the machine or sumthing cuz i was thinkn of getting this but i dont hav a laptop??? sum replay 2 let me know
I need help on the NS7 with scratching... I'm trying to get my scratching down like on the videos with the NS7... What settings should I be using? I'm new to this and trying to get into it. If someone could help or provide a video of the steps when it comes to scratching using the crossfader... Thanks....
@GTrjr10 Depends on what your going after, really. NS7 is more traditional with real turntable motors and vinyl. Mixdeck relies apon the 'ole Jog Wheels. They work, but its still not the same as vinyl.
NS7, I can say from personal use, is amazing and extremely solid. Though you will need a computer or laptop to use it. Mixdeck, You just need any form of media. CD. flashdrive, iPod... You get the idea.
yo man ive had my ns7 for about 6 months now my fiirst set of turntables man took me bout 3 weeks to start mixin and now im way better but i wanna get even better and i know with timei will but i just want to know more imma fast learner just un this small city not to many djs except for my brother but he dhs with a sfx macbine that he connects to his computer
Good going MortalKombatFan000, I think the only way to learn is on Turntables. When I started that's all we had to use besides cassette tape which was useless for mixing. Although pioneer and techniques both had cassette players with variable speed. What I love about NS7 is that it is as close to turntables as you can get in a digital DJ system. As long as there are turntables I will still buy vinyl's though. Best to you and your brother. Happy Xmas.
Pioneer *stole*(not really, pretty much copied it) strip search from the Numark NS7 man. Of course, use the Pioneers (900 & 2000), but it'll cost you both of your legs (you need your arms to deejay right?) And real deal is Serato and Vinyl, not CDJ's. Numark NS7 is for portability and quick setup and the real REAL deal now is finally we have Effects!

you should buy the traktor control x1 its cheaper and it can do a lot of things like 8 hot cues on each deck and control 3 effects at once
