Install some sort of touch screen tools, so that when you click somewhere, the cursor will turn into a little cross and fade away, and so that you can just drag internet windows up and down instead of scrolling.

sorry if this was answered before but i cant seem to find it online. Say you install xp tablet or have the writing to text converter, is it hard to write on the netbook since the screen doesnt come down all the way?

You probably would want a tablet form factor. The bottom half of the netbook does get in the way if you will be constantly writing. Honestly though, you'll probably end up using the keyboard most of the time because the recognition software is still pretty poor.

I also wonder, though don't get me wrong it looks excellent, if it is convenient to touch the screen like that, doing big movements , instead of using other pointing devices. Especially with 6 cell models which don't open up all the way. Well, I don't know.

Quick questions, I ordered a Acer Pink Aspire One AOA150-1949 which also has an 8.9" screen. Does the touch screen you provided for in the dealextreme link work with this model, is it compatible?

Also, if you install a touch screen, can you still use your mouse touchpad or does that become disabled? I would prefer the dual option

as long as its a 8.9 inch screen, it will work with any model. the touchscreens from dealextreme are just USB-based. so if it has USB, it will work ;)

Touch screens are always cool. The soundtrack just makes it ****in AWESOME!!!. This is definitely the next mod in addition to the internal bluetooth and an external wifi plug I'm workin on.
