you should get the champ then fly the super cub. It makes flying easier and sooooooooooooooooooooo much fun ! But the super cub is a great plane, hope you have a shit load of fun!
what should i do i like this plane and i hate the one i have now (fiebird commander 2) it sucks u cant fly it with ANY! wind at all i just baught it to day and ive crashed it from 20 feet it broke the wing(made a quaker sized chip out of it) and i want the super cub what should i do? can i return it?? for full money or store credit?
The supercub makes a great plane but jthe Firebird Commander2 is the best choice for a first plane because it is two channel and unlike the SuperCub, it isn't always soldout everywhere on the internet.
Supercub rocks, best rc plane out there. Ive had mine 4 about a year and a half and only had 1 major crash when i was puling out of a loop and hit a nearby rugby post, i bought a new wing and new tail bits, and stripped it of the decals as i think it looks better in just white :p
Mines been in a tree for 2 weeks during thunder storms. When i got it down it still worked i just need to replace the wing and tail, its VERY durable (my dad was the one who crashed it not me XD)
I crashed mine on this last Christmas day lol. It was in the tree for a few weeks until one of my friends dad shot it down with a bow and arrow. It only left a tiny mark suprisingly.
It costs around $32 for the more powerful battery, it is supposed to give you faster climb rates and more porwer, I would imagine longer flight but I'm not sure on that.
I love to see a man playing with his favorite toy. I love my cub as well. Unfortunately, it's been sitting at the top of a huge tree in the middle of a small forest. It's like I've lost a favorite pet. Thanks for the vid. Keep playing, but beware the trees. -chas

The Super Cub is 3 Channel....
And the Super Cub is high wing, making it more forgiving, the reason why their sold it, is because their VERY good. Alot better than the Commander.

yes it is a good beginner. just as a little advice though, for replacement props use the one for the p-51 mustang. it is much more durable.
