ev'rything she says is so funny!!

  • May West at 80 beats all the wannabee young women of today, most of whom have nothing like what the Late Great May West had.

  • @Basiltyne ummm.... no...... a fat creepy 80-year old with a speech impediment isn't really that "hot"

  • HI EVERYONE-I WAS THE TRAMPOLINIST (FORMER NCAA GYMNASTIC CHAMPION AT SIU) I ALSO DOUBLED IN THE FILM FOR TIMOTHY DALTON-THIS WAS HIS 1ST FILM IN USA! IT WAS AN HONOR TO WORK WITH THE LEGEND-MISS MAE WEST & ALL THE ACTRESSES OWE HER BIG TIME FOR BEING SO OUTRAGEOUSLY AHEAD OF HER TIME WHEN SHE WAS YOUNGER! THE PINK THING SHE WAS TRYING TO GRAB ON THE TRAMPOLINE WAS A CASSETE TAPE OF HER LIFE STORY THAT ALL OF HER LOVERS WERE TRYING TO STEAL FROM HER & CASH IN! HER LAST MOVIE SHE DID!

  • @BrentWendellWilliams WOW, I Bet you Feel so Lucky, She was so SEXY & Beautiful!

  • my brain just blew up

  • Nobody can agree as to who's more annoying, and trying, to a sane person's sensibilities: Jimmy Steward, Mae West, or Katharine Hepburn? The worst-case scenario would be: you're locked in a room with these blithering idiots and your rifle contains only 2 bullets.

  • All those Men were so Lucky!

  • THIS WAS MY SECOND FILM I WORKED ON IN HOLLYWOOD-I WAS THE TRAMPOLINIST & IT WAS A THRILL TO GET TO MEET & WORK WITH THE GREAT LEGEND- MISS MAE WEST! HAD A COUPLE OTHER SCENES & ALSO DOUBLED FOR TIMOTHY DALTON-HIS 1ST FILM N HOLLYWOOD-JUST RAN INTO HIM RECENTLY!

  • @BrentWendellWilliams - WOW!!! What a rare experience! I can't believe I'm typing to Mae West's real-life HUNKY trampolinist! If she was alive she'd doubtless sue me for over-familiarity with one of her men!

What was that pink box on the trampoline? It shot up into the gargoyles mouth at the end of the clip. Thank you, I'm now very excited :-)

  • @IdaSputum It was A Cassette Tape of her Memories!

  • I think I can smell her denture cream.

  • All those Men were so LUCKY!

  • Only Mae could say " up to my neck in Muscle" at any age

  • Mind boggling. Completely mind boggling.

  • She did not look a day over 30!

  • I can't take it...too...too, corny.

  • @secondaryactons I can think a condom. LOL

  • @secondaryactons That was the Cassette Tape of her memoriers. Watch the movie it was great. Sextette-1978.

  • Damn, for 84, she was still very attractive, she lived a good life!

  • Oh, and what are you, I'm a pole valter, Yeah.. aint we all, lol.

  • "Wow! All this meat and no potatoes. What are you trying to do? Give me competition?"

    That is a great line!

  • Oh my god this woman was so funny, I love Mae. I wanna see this movie.

  • This is really a scene from "Sex In The City part 24" from 2032.

    Samantha goes to the gym.

  • I was 21 yesterday!

  • The absolute height of hilarity - both intential and otherwise!

  • jumping jesus!!

  • Mae- " Now what do you do?"

    Athlete- " I'm a pole vaulter"

    Mae- "Oh, aren't we all"

That is hysterical...... talking about the male anatomy.

  • "It's not the size what counts,

    but the quality."

    Classic Mae West

  • does anybody realize that she is 85 in this! she looks amazing...even though she died 2 years later

  • wdf... she aint 85 rofl!!

  • Um this was filmed in 1978. She was born in 1893. Which makes her 85 here.

  • actually 84

  • I just love Mae West >D hehe

  • WTF? This is soooo bad. My girl just pointed out, the steroids have really hurt these guys. All meat and no potatos is right. I heard how bad this was. I just had to see for myself. I have. And...once again...WTF?

  • "Oh I'd sure like to see your javelin." It's so subtle...

  • Blow out your candles big boy, or I'll do it for you!!

  • shut the fuck up!

    your all idiots.

  • Poor Mae West, all she knew was how to be 'sexy' no matter what age she was :/

  • she doesnt look a day over 95

  • :59 "I'm a pole vaulter"

    Mae West "Aren't we all?"

I bet she was a total slut back in the 30's and 40's. And I mean that in a good way.

  • this is like one of those videos they play in front of torture victims to make them talk

  • All that Meat and No Potatoes. A Fats Waller song from 1941.

  • I've got to give Mae West credit - To play a 20something while in her 80's(late)

As my gramps used to say " I'm glad I don't have her nerve in my tooth"

  • i agree she loved life...tooo bad she had to die..hopefully sh e i s in heaven.

  • damn, i wish i was a fly on the fall in that gym.....those black men.......hell, all those men!!

  • When she was young, her eyelashes weren't that thick to begin with. Was it because as she got older, she began use the mink eyelashes in the 50s? When she look at the older Mae West films, her eyebrows weren't thick. Can any Mae West explain to me about that?

  • Aw, how cute. a gym full of homosexuals.

  • AND i guess you prefer turkish bathouses fulll of homosexuals...

  • Whatever you are.

  • And that would be bad because....?

  • Who wouldn't?

  • Well I don't know about you, but I would

  • Pfft! You should see the bellboy orgy at the beginning of the film!

  • @orvgg Mine Kind of Gym ;0)

  • @orvgg The fact that they are hot doesn't mean they are gay. And if they are so what?? They're still hot.

  • @diablecita I did not say anythingthey were not hot, nor did I say that being gay is wrong. It's quite fabulous, actually.

  • @orvgg -- Ha,ha, ha, hooooooooo!!!! Oh, my ribs!

  • @orvgg They were NOT Gay!

  • why dose it look like she cant open her eyes?

  • She used to wear several pairs of mink eyelashes. Each strand was glued on separately after a while they could get quite heavy.

  • not the size that matter...the quality......muhahahaha!!!

  • una verdadera diosa, por duios, ella tiene 85 años de edad y levanta mas que yo

  • she was 85....85 years old during the making of this film.

  • i kno wisnt thata dmirable taht even though teh film wasa turkey tahts omeoen has so much love for performing taht they are stilll doing it at 85...

  • Aieeee!!

  • I expected the Village People to show up at any minute!

  • holy fuck..wtf

  • Hmm. It was embarrassing, but I love this film. A cult classic . Fave line, " I'm a pole vaulter" Mae responds " Aren't we all"

  • I guess the wonderful Mae West (83yrs) just walked into a GAY GYM - shes still got more class than these himbo dummies "...all this meat and no potatoes..." great line from a true legend...

  • She was 83?????

    WTF.

    She doesnt look like 83

    :D:D:D I love her

  • one of a kind! es una diosa imortal!

  • Possibly the best three and a half minutes in the history of cinema.

  • i will visit this gym too,lol.

  • wow....

SO much BEEF in that gym

    YIKEYS!

  • you guys are unbelievable. she was EIGHTY-THREE. And she seemed to have more wit than the lot of you. "LOL"??? Can you be less creative? This is a classic, because of and in spite of its embarrassing element. Crap, she could actually SING, and she looks better than some fifty year old women. I can't believe you dudes & your small-mindedness. OK, and full disclosure: When I was 12, I found a stash of playboys; stills of this movie in the sex in cinema section kept me happy for months & months

  • Comment removed

  • You really think someone making a screenname after "Sunset Boulevard" and posting clips from the musical version is straight? You're too retarded to even have a sexual orientation!

  • lol Bwah ha haaaaa! "Too retarded to have a sexual orientation." You're insane! I have to share that with someone.

  • UNA DIOSA, UNA DIOSA

  • and exactly how will YOU look when you are 83 "USAeabusa2"???..you are only parroting some easy lines that were in circulation about Mae West 40 years ago..at least Mae came up with her OWN really WITTY lines herself!...oh yes, I almost forgot : "LOL"

  • yea the Lincoln animatron at Disneyland looks more lifelike lol

  • yea I don't think she was that senile at that age, alice cooper admitted in a keith moon documentary, that she actually propostioned him and keith to come up to her room during the time when they were shooting the film, "come up and see me some time boys" oh man! hahahaa

  • Definitely, she looks better than she was young

  • she seems like the female version of Rodney Dangerfield.funny

  • she's like a glacier. huge and slow moving.

  • @acidqueen69 Critic Rex Reed compared Maes moving like an ocean liner in a fish pond .

  • lol in a Mae West picture that probably was a real catfight for a part in it lol.

  • Because you are projecting...

  • Because they are?

  • All this meat and no potatoes!

  • funny I guess but wtf does it mean?

  • At 84, she was supposed to be senile when she made this film, but her perfect lip-synching on the song shows she was still conscious of what she was doing, and having fun at it.

  • Fantastic! She is a legend!

  • she was always so raunchy.

    i love it.

    it's what made her.

  • Mae West was a genius. She wrote some of the first gay-themed plays to ever be presented in America (in the 1920's I think) and she was at least 70 years ahead of her time in that respect.

  • this is great, she is hilarious and well having fun with it... god bless mae... seh was unique... and she was in the list becaus of her previous works... on her early days, not for Sextette... anyway... it is funny enough to be great

  • The song is a reprise of "Happy birthday sweet sixteen" of Neil Sedaka.

  • wow... the guy on the left at 1:30's hair is awesome!

  • This is the BEST song in the film. I love it :)

  • Mae West with 85 years old! She was really a great and inspiring women! Just go to see where can we find somebody at her age still fighting and performing. She is an example of surveillance for every elderly human being. She was a performer!Only Rosita Fornes in Cuba is in her 80's and stil a performer. I invite everybody here to see Rosita Fornes in you tube!

  • Surveillance??

  • yes! we should surveil our old people! never let them out of the camera's sight!

  • What is the pink thing?

  • It's a cassette tape with Marlo's memoirs dictated on it. She is trying to get it back so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

  • who the hell did they think would come to see this movie?

  • One word: GAYS. I love it.

  • MAE WEST RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "ohhh"

  • Mmmm

  • I hate to say it, but she looks like Bette Midler in this scene.

Anyways, it's one thing to live to 85, but to dance and sing in a musical with the same vibrance you had in your 20s---AMAZING

  • ;') It still is an award worstmovie winner.

    but what cult classic.

My dear lord she looks old.

  • Despite everything I've heard about this film, it's not as bad as I thought! Yes, she's 84 years old in this film and I've not seen the whole thing, but if "Sextette," was a stage performance, it would have been far more acceptable to viewers - it's played out like her 30s films, as expected, which was a time when everything came fresh from the stage and wasn't purposefully made for film. Thanks for uploading and I'll have to catch the rest of the film.

  • LOL I think this is great!
