I have The Hartke LH 100 head with the HyDrive 8X10 as my main rig now. Other than getting a sweet deal on the rig,one of the main reasons I got it was because it has a nice set up for any type of playing(bright tone to a nice low bottom). I pefer it over Ampegs that are made in Vietnam. I do on the other hand do like an SVT 4 through an 8X10 american model if you can find one reasonable.
I agree with gotbass33727. I think Hartke's sound great, and I would take the LH1000 over the SVT6pro any day. I'm not too fond of the Ampeg sound, really, but that's just me.
I've seen this guys ad's in Bass Player for some time and I thought he looking like a dip wad. Never judge a book by its cover! The guy can play and you can understand him!
Another cool thing is, you can hide your weed right here...

I prefer the sound of the older HA series Hartke heads. The blendable dual pre-amps are hard to beat. Wondering why they changed it.

"Wanking" might not be the best word to put in this video's description. :P
Aside from that, as a Hartke user I'm very interested in this new line!

Does anyone know if the LH 1000 powers the 8x10 at 1000watts or 500watts?
xsamuraifonzx 3 years ago
it can do both, its 2x500watts and 1x1000watts in bridge mode.

sweet thanks. another question,im in the buy for a new amp, what would be a better buy, ampeg svt6pro or the LH1000?
xsamuraifonzx 3 years ago
