What serious practice should be--one discovers things about the music at a more reasonable tempo--helps phrasing, etc. A treat to hear the notes clearly. This kind of practice wull make playing faster on a larger instrument in live acoustics clearet and more meaningful for the hearer.
What's the organ and stoplist? A major concert organist's church has a monster organ in the main building but uses a small tracker in the chapel to perfect big pieces.
@heepitfull I second this. It is nice to get the "behind the scenes" glimpse of what is required to perfect a piece. As well, as mentioned, it is nice to hear the the intricacies of the piece's construction at a slower pace.
Yes, it is limited for its organ is just designed for small space. Therefore it has some magic, that we can use a variery of combinations against the limited stops. 1,3-manual uses the same stops and then 4 couplers has important roles.
oh I agree. His finger work is not the easiest although usually i find his music so enjoyable that I work harder at it, I have to say that this guy seems to play it just a bit too slow

Hmm... This is good, but it's a little bit slow. About 10-15bpm faster would be fantastic. :)

Good job with this scenic, warm and glorious piece. On this organ you can hear all the notes.

Never seen such a limited disposition on a 3-manual organ. But I definately like the sound of the positiv.
It never fails to amaze me how difficult Vierne's work is.

Vierne work is really difficult for me!
