  • Hey bro. Did all the parts u showed in ur video come with the cooling or you had to buy any additionals?

  • @mambeche Everything came with the kit for this cooler. Nothing additional required.

  • Hey, thanks for answering my last question. The one I asked how much energy was needed to run this video card! Valeu cara! thx

  • @superhuman501

570 requires minimum 550W with atleast 36Amps on +12V rail according to website. I would recommend above 40-45amp atleast.

  • @HAWX9

Here is the link of the new video with the AXP cooler on 570. Check it out on my channel!

  • Well, nice coller but, it takes about 3 slots of the computer i think this is bad, not worth it! But anyway, if u want to play everything on max by overclocking this card, it's a nice thing! For me, this is not necessary. I should use this cooler on a hight performance card like the 550ti or any other one!

  • @superhuman501

Was a good option at the time. The slot usage are a put off but performance is great. Anyways, I'm uploading a new video soon. I recently installed an arctic acclero xtreme plus cooler on my gtx 570.

  • @HAWX9 HEHE. This cooler will work verry well on a gtx 570, tha't means u can transform this card into a bomb. Thx for answer me. A lot of brazilians should have the same doubt. How many power supply is necessary to run this card with this cooler? Thx!

  • Hey, i have a question, i have the same card, but my case is rather small so i was just wondering how far out the cooler sticks out (lengthwise)

  • @KAPICEK

I've sold the card so I can't comment exactly. I think 2-3cm more than the card, can't really say. You should check their website.

  • DAMN..... i have 2 9800GT :( not possible take 2 artic

  • @Alcamps

An alternative would be to get a sparkle calibre gtx 560 with the arctic cooler factory installed.

  • @HAWX9 yes way another 5-6 month for take 2 560 now 1 560 have price really hight 370$ for 1 560GTX

  • y got the same keyboard:)

  • Like the music

  • PLEASE HELP i have a pny 9800gt oc and teh size of your card is just like mine but when i tried to put the cooler on the pipes went further down the slot it couldnt fit :(

  • @RizlaSquad

Have u tried if inverting the cooler is possible i mean keep the pipes sides to the open side and the logo side to the pcix slot side ? It has to be reference 9800gt design for it to fit. Some manufacturers alter the reference design. It may not fit then.

The GTX 460's I've seen having this ACTT cooler fitted have their pipes exposed to the open side (rather than the pcix slot side like in video). It might be the case with you as well.

  • @HAWX9 yeah i've done that but then when i pute the heatsinks on the vrams they dont fir bcuz of the pipes well nvm i'll just keep it on the 9500

  • does this come with the little ram heatsinks? if it doesn't, how would that work? surely it has to come with them included right?

  • @super6plx

Yes, it comes with those little ram heatsinks. They have thermal tape attached to them. You can use a rubber to clean the ram tops on the card and then simply stick the heatsinks. Its very easy.

  • can it fly?

because it looks like it can !! :D

  • @ronaldh33

    Lolz......

  • great vid, thanx

  • @theredrooter

    welcome

  • That's very good indeed :) Cooling the rams and mosfets shouldn't be a problem regardless of whether you want to overclock or not.

  • Hey man!!! I've installed the cooler. Before installing, when I played Splinter Cell: Conviction, my GPU temperature was 104º. Now it's 50-51º at 50% of fan's RPM. AMAZING!!!

PD: I've not refrigered the RAMs because the man in the shop told me not to do if I do not overclock it.

  • Thanks 4 your video. I've bought an ARCTIC COOLING ACCELERO TWIN TURBO for my XFX 9800GT. Playing Splinter Cell Conviction it's 100º C and mi computers reboots (for security, I think). I hope reduce my GPU temperature.

    Idle (right now): 75º C

  • @Dunadan7 Sorry, it's an ARCTIC COOLING ACCELERO TWIN TURBO PRO (fan are a bit bigger xD)

  • @Dunadan7

Welcome. Pro one is better because it has bigger fans. Anyways yeah it will lower you temps from 100C on load. I sold my 9800GT and lapped this same cooler onto a 4870 and overclocked it. Idle temps are 60C and load 67-71C but usually 68C average while playing mw2. 4870 is a hotter card than 9800gt so u can expect even better temps on your gpu. Good luck!

  • @HAWX9

Thanks man!!! My cooler will arrive at the shop on wednesday (that's what they told me) so I will type here how it works, ok?? It has an easy installation, right?

  • @Dunadan7

Sure, will be looking forward to it. It's an easy installation. I faced no problems getting it onto a 9800GT. Should be easy !

  • You are welcome.

  • ati has a better stock cooling than nvidia.

  • haha because ati makes hot cards LOL!!!!

  • Can you still fit an SLI bridge on the card with this cooler? Even if it's not a flexible one? I'm debating buying this.

    Thanks.

  • In my opinion it would be difficult to fit an SLI bridge with this cooler. I haven't tried SLI myself so can't really say.

  • whats the temps with this big cooler ? =)

  • @NicuMD11

    Idle: 43C

    OC'ed @(730/1825/1000)

    Furmark Load: 61C

    MW2 Load: 49-52C

in a casing with good airflow.

  • @HAWX9

    woow, that's very good!

i've the antec nine hundred two case ;)

1 year ago, i've installed the 9800GT XXX from XFX in the case. but the temps (105C°! in crysis) were very, very warm! then i've buy a GTX260 OC'ed :D xD

  • Hey got question.... Does this fan/cooler work on XFX ATI 4770 radeon u think ? // Thx for answers

  • @MrWowpwns24

No, website doesn't list 4770 under compatible cards.

  • Those temps are gud, yesterday i ran crysis on my leadtek 9800GT n waz gettin ...temps of 95c. plus on load...

  • no the cooler from leadtek is not so noisy

  • can you tell me the name of the song please , by the way i have the same card but it is from leadtek my temps are with stock cooler are: 48-51 idle and full load max 75

  • this cooler takes 3 slot on motherboard. watch out !

  • I have the exact gfx card, mine is the YDLH model. I OC'ed my GPU for the first time yesterday but my temps were ridiculously high. Even on stock clock this card runs hot as hell. I am ordering this cooler right now man!

  • That's great. When gaming I overclock it to 725/1812/2000 Mhz (core/shader/memory) and with good case flow the temps while playing COD4 are 55-58C as mentioned.

On Furmark Load the temps do not exceed 63C.

    Good luck.

  • Those temps sound like paradise. Even with the incredible air-flow of my Antec 902 my 9800GT hits a 90-100C max. Thats why i ordered this cooler, can't wait for it to come in. I got a few questions though,

What program do you use to OC your GPU? I'm using RivaTuner and I can only OC my memory to 1350MHz, how did you get 2000MHz??

and also, Did you install the cooler with it pre-applied thermal paste or did you use your own? Thanks

  • 90C is indeed high. My card's temp were touching 77-80C under gaming load on stock cooling. You will be satisfied with this cooler's performance.

Rivatuner. 2000Mhz is simply double as that's the way manufacturers report it. In rivatuner though it's at 1000Mhz.

I got this cooler from a friend so I had to apply fresh thermal paste. I wanted to apply AS5 but it isn't available here so I had to settle with the ordinary one. You should get even better results with the pre-applied MX-2.

  • Nice 5*5 and sup to you :D

  • Thanks. This cooler does a good job keeping it cool. I play cod4 maxed out with temp at 55-57C OC'ed considering room temp is around 32C.

  • wow nice temps
