the fact that the people are not really singing makes me mad, but also the fact that the person playing toluse (sp?) is too tall.. xD.. and the person playing Zidler doesnt even look like they even stage punched the person playing the duke. And the girl playing satine has DARK HAIR? Play version.. FAIL! Christian player.. Totally does look like a monkey. I love plays, But this play is a total fail.. Dont try to remake the movie into a play if you dont have singers, or close hair color

I don't know why people are complaining on this. They are a dancing school and they danced. Sure there was lip-syncing, but they are NOT a singing school.You guys try to put on a play this large. I didn't think it was over reacted; it was fine for students. This was nice. I think you guys did a heavy deal of dedication on the background and stage. So props to you. :)

Ugh you can definitively tell y'all are a dancing school, NOT an ACTING school! The overacting was sooo painful to watch. Next time don't lipsync and you won't have this problem as much, why because its difficult to overact when you're actually singing! And the crying at the end was painful, he looked like he spilled milk, not lost the love of his life!

Several things could have been better. For instance, when Ziddler punches the duke... he could have actually made it in time. That's what happens when you decide to lipsynch to an entire movie.

I realize that they lipsync in this but it beautifully portrays the emotions behind the songs. I found this very enjoyable as it can be very difficult to bring this out.....I also thought that the young lady playing Satine did very well in the scene where she dies.

I've never seen anything like this done before, it was done beautifully and still captured the emotions the way they were meant to be. It was very enjoyable and looked like it was so much fun to do, I would have loved to have been part of something like this. :)

I always say that Moulin Rouge should be adapted for the stage, and it has been several times, but they are always low quality productions like this. One German production even went the entire show with no set but a SINGLE BACKDROP!
