They are the best basses in terms of neck. The only drawback is their necks, they are very fat, like baseball necks. I just place my thumb lower on the back so I have easier access to the strings. A rick's tone with metal amp settings is just raw fucking power. Listen to his peace sells cover.

The trick is to use a direct recorder. If you do, no amp is necessary (but having a multieffect footpedal does help).

My webcam kinda sucks, but if you must know, it is 15fps at 640X480. 30 frames at 320X240. It's a Microsoft lifecam. What really anooys me about it is the fact that it burps from time to time, ruining the smoothness of my videos.

Carcass and Corpse are so low-pitched that my bass turns to mush tuning that way. I have been avoiding those two bands for precisely that reason. Not that I have ruled them out, but it will take some serious thinking to get around the technical difficulties. I guess my problem is that I like a fairly clean, non-rumbly sound....hard to achieve with a four string tuned to C.

Great video as always Rob, I guess a fiver string is very handy for that type of band the lower tuning really comes through the guitars quite well and crisp clear, would highly reccomend a 5 string version Wulfgang (Same schecter, just a 5 string version) :P
