I think I can honestly say these guys are geniuses. I started with MMOs at the begining of the the summer and this is by far the most original game I have seen and if not the most one of them. u can tell they put alot of thought into this game and its mechanics. It reminds me alot of Fallout 3 when it comes to gameplay and mechanics. Im a Computer Science, Game Design Major with a Business Management Minor still in school. The fact that there are games like this makes me excited.

it might b trying to simulate how a horse becomes fatigued as it slowly starves to death untill it refuses to do more work untill it gets fed, i wonder if horses will eventually die if u dont feed them

Yes, I've played fallout 3. But Fallen Earth seems a bit more, "realistic". In Fallout 3 you can get power armor, fire miniature nuclear warheads, etc. but Fallen Earth feels like an actual post-apoc. Road Warrior scenario. Fallout 3 is a good game but personally I prefer Fallen Earth.

It would not be at all possible to make a game you can play for over a year and not get bored of, that has an absolutely mind-blowing scale, and that has so much immersion, without having some sort of monthly fee.

Why are people so against paying monthly? They play WoW for $13 bucks and its a kids game. They pay $50 a months for porn and it only leaves you wanting more. This is the FIRST decent looking MMOFPS/RPG game i have seen ever. As for mmorpg its the best i have seen since EQ or DAOC.

This truly is the first game that gives me butterflies. This hasn't happened for a long long time.

IMO at least :3 ...i keep on getting games that leave me wanting more after the gimmicks (MW2,BF:bc2,Borderlands, etc etc) the only game that DIDNT leave me hanging after about a week is Fallout 3... i played that game for 3000 hrs+ ...i've also played wow... i never got into it enough to play it to where i have a high level char... but THIS game looks awesome :D also theres apparently an awesome staff that communicates to its community ^,..,^

Agreed, although I tend to respect Guild Wars' system. Buy once, keep playing. They make their money off of actual game sales, and still seem compelled to get things done. Both systems are viable, but you scare away the audience without a lot of time on their hands when you impose a monthly fee :( (or even those who don't wish to be tied down to ONE game forever)
