I have 2 bearded dragons too. One is a reg morph from pet smart and one is a crimson red I bought at Repticon. Bith are a year old and they are soo fat. I cant wait til mine are as big as yours. I love how lazy they are. They will sit on your shoulder for hours. Mine also like to watch tv too lol. I also wanted to say, nothing in your video was animal cruelty . Some ppl just like to cause trouble :) keep up the good work. Looks like your taking great care of them

@thesugerpuffmonster at one month old there is no way to tell, not until they get bigger. I can sex bearded dragons so you can send me pics of under their tails when they are about 6 months at least.

In the Honolulu Zoo, they have about 9 LARGE beardies. They are appx. 3ft long x 8in.wide by my guess. So cool to watch during feeding time as they scamper after their crickets. If you ever get to Oahu,check them out.

My baby bearded has stress marks they go away after i hold him and let him run around in my room for 10-15 minutes, is he actually stressed or just making himself dark for more heat he also wont eat veggies i have been trying to get him to eat them since i got him about 4 days ago and he only will eat 5 crickets a day

@ThePwnageCO Sure! If you start with a dropper. Fill it with water and place the beardie next to the water. drop dropplets of water into the dish. the move ment of the water and splashes get them excited. they love it! it is a long process over time because they do ot recognize still water. i still use the water droplet trick on my 5 year old dragon. Sometimes she just drinks from the dropper out of my hand.

I'm actually getting one this weekend and would it be bad if i mostly feed it veggies because my local petsmart is very far and i would only buy crickets whenever i pass it to go to the local wegmans <-------cool grocery store)

@ThePwnageCO If you are getting a young (juvenile) bearded dragon, then it is best to feed it mostly crickets and live worms with calcium and vitamineD3 suppliments. You should do more research before getting a bearded dragon. I did 6 months of research and set up their tank before i got mine. Once your bearded dragon reaches about 10 inches then you can switch their food over to mostly veggies and some fruits and use crickets and worms as a treat. : )

@MrChucknorris98 They are both female. I thought they were both male until they were 2 years old until they both started laying eggs. they even did the "mating dance" as if they were male and female. Their eggs are infertal of course because there is no male to fertalize the eggs.

@Julianna19922 I was actually very lucky while they were going through the "cannablistic" phase they never went after eachother. they did fight a few times but i put a seperator in their tank for the rest of the day then tried again with out it the next and it always worked. The road trip was pretty easy on them they would hide under the pile we made for them and stay warm in the back seat and we took a lot of breaks at rest stops for them to relax outside and eat. everything was good!

@SuperPIMPful 1 female 1 male. I couldnt tell you how large your females will get. It all depends on how well your Husbandry is. How do you know you have 2 females? Did you take them to a professional? How old are they?

@SuperPIMPful most dragons end up being about 17"-20". My female is 14" long now and still growing (not sure of her age exactly as I didnt breed her, shes probably about 9-12 months)

There are larger breeds which can reach almost 2ft in length, but if yours were sold to you as regular beardies they probably wont get that big. Give them plenty of space, proper lighting and a good varied diet (with plenty of calcium suppliment) and they will reach their full potential

Did you know that Bearded Dragons DO actually have Depth perception? So there is NO WAY IN HELL my dragon was going to jump off the Balcony at my friends place.. @19baby82 I kiss mine all the time. You'll get salmonella only if your "beardie" lays in feces and you don't bathe him/her ever, otherwise there's no danger.

@williammarcoux I am not offended in any way. what you saw was a slide show of one day of each month over the course of 3 years. They eat very well. Lots of collard greens mustard greens and other fruits and veggies. they are happy and healthy.. for the record.

It was hot enough during our road trip for them to not need a tank or heat/UV lamps. we went to the beach in florida and basked in the sun, stopped at rest stops to hang out in the sun.. they mostly sat in the back seat and caught some rays.!
