  • WHAT THE **** HOW DO I ********** COME ** HERE

  • lol

  • A quick update for everyone who has ever looked and posted here. She is still battling on. No lingering after effects from this surgery, I'm pleased to note.

  • Boy that is painful to go through - the face and scalp are AWFUL places to have staples! I am glad to hear she is doing well and God Bless to the doctors, specialists and nurses whom helped her get healthy again1

  • How on Earth did I end up here?

  • @sylvanlange16 hahaha me too. I started off listening to orchestra music.

  • I remember getting those pulled out after havin appendix removed...not a pleasant sensation. the most delicate area of where she had those....OOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUCH. strong woman is damn right

  • huay a DIOS SALE LAS GRACIAS DIOS TE AMA ESTAS RE BIEN SEÑORA DIOS LA SUIGA BENDICIENDO

  • Как свинья орёт,да и разговаривает в целом...)

  • not enough balls to make that surgery happen to me.

  • damm, that thing must have hurt alot!

  • She flipped us off:(

  • I hope she had a wonderful recovery.

  • oh my... this looks like an unusual procedure using staples... i mean... do the surgeons ever think about asthtetic aspects?

I hope you had a soon recovery! regards.

  • God bless her.

  • Did she get blind? because my grandmother has a brain tumor and i am worried that it might haunt her for the rest of her life. i really love my grandmother and don't want her to be in that way T.T

  • Jeanette's a brave lady.

  • what if like, the staples didnt heal and all of a sudden tge flap of skin just fell. LMAO

  • miss frankenstein???Just kidding, she's lucky :)

  • poor thing :(

  • I had this done at the age of seven in the center lower back of my head , they held me down on a table while they ripped these thing's out of my head...telling my mother that I wouldnt remember the pain. Oh. I remember all too well.

  • @Raveonkids One thing about you story. THE BRAIN HAS NO PAIN RECEPTORS. nice sympathy fail

  • @itachisan02 This was not done to the brain,Idiot. The staples are removed from the outer layer of the skin. Which has pain receptors you dumb asshat. The staples become embedded into the skin ,try ripping something out that has been healed over. Sympathy? Hah.

  • @itachisan02 Since when was the head the brain? Idiot.

Obviously the head has pain receptors. Don't believe me? Come round to my house; I'll get a hammer ready. Then you'll get it.

The BRAIN, however, has no pain receptors.

  • @rhillner serious question, then how do we get headaches?? seriously, how would we get headaches that very much hurt in the brain if there are no pain receptors??

  • @stedmans4christ google it for more info but there are pain receptors in other places such as the skull, and sometimes the brain can trigger these

  • You're awesome for sharing this!

  • wdf is a tumor?

  • Holy Cow, why isn't she numbed up so she can't feel that? Poor lady, hope she is okay now!

  • How's it going everyone. Thanks to all for the nice, sometimes witty and interesting comments.

Just to fill you all in, Jeanette had a Benign Meningioma the size of a Tennis ball behind her left eye pushing up on the Carotid Artery and optical nerve which had to be removed in 2008. The tumour itself would not of killed her, but the placement of it would. The important thing here is that she is still rockin' on 2 years after having the operation. One tough cookie. I'm sure you'll agree.

  • @ironbarkhardwood GIVE ME A HEALL YEAH!!!

  • WOW what a trooper your mom is!! More power to her!

  • WTF scary....

  • You are one strong strong lady!! Kudos to you and God bless you!! I know what staples in the head feel like from my own brain tumor surgery but not that many!!

  • Aww Bless

  • Is she ok now?

  • holy shit...

  • I hope neither I nor any of you ever has to undergo such a procedure.

If I ever did, I'd be unable to stop myself pulling at the staples...

  • hows she doing

  • FrankenGranny??

  • @getdrunk1990

would you be funny that this happened to you? how are you man?

  • @ironbarkhardwood why wasn't she anesthetized?

  • Comment removed

  • @runnybabbit12

there is no need. does not hurt that much. anesthesia is not like that innocent

  • I do not want to feel it!

  • ouch!!!

  • no 1 could feel pain for that poor women think of the stuff she must of gone thought to basically just expand her life by a few years i bet to the hospital she is just a test dummy.poeple like that women should deserve to live a full and helthy life ...GOD BLESS ALL no 1 deseves to be in such pain =(

  • @AgameingGod

    I was...

  • Ouch ....

  • .. and the skin may be closed with absorbable stitches (= No need to remove stitches, no pain at all)

  • I think that kind of skin cut will leave a visible scar. A skin cut behind the hair line is better, because has no aesthetic consequences.

  • why did they use staples :S

  • They found that it stops the brains from leaking out onto the nice hospital bedding.

  • @ironbarkhardwood

indeed, its really messy to clean up fallen out brain.

  • @ironbarkhardwood Haha xP

  • @ironbarkhardwood obviously lol, he means why not stitching

  • @ironbarkhardwood you dont say?

  • @JadaKetley they ran out of the real shit, so they poped next door and borrowed the stapler

  • i hate when they say "be brave"

i would be like, being brave has nothing to do with enduring pain. unless you're scared of pain i suppose.

  • i feel her pain! =((

  • dam it looks like they put waay too many staples

  • Geesh... they couldn't do a local anesthetic in this area??

  • omg!! that nurse is a bitch
