@tarmacblack1 Well nobody has ever given me a straight answer on how much was spent on this car. I know for a fact that my car is alot faster and surely weighs more, and I only spent a few grand. If some one could tell me how much exactly was spent to built this rice burner then I would know for sure. I have drag raced and oval raced since the late 80's and have worked for Jeg Coughlin on his Pro stock team. ET and RT go hand in hand. The sooner you leave the faster you arrive. Its simple.

@blackrul3z Yea my 73 Olds 442 runs 7.72 all day. On a good day its in the 7.6s. I only spent alittle over $75 grand. Its all motor and suspension work. the motor is a 455 Olds Rocket motor pushing close to 900HP

you should see my buddys mk3, 0-60 was already in the 4 second range with a 20g greddy turbo upgrade and a fully built motor, while hitting fuel cut at 22psi, he has a t67 Garret waiting to go on along with an AEM EMS should be good for high 30psi range :-) do you have the 7mgte? or the 7mge?

oh ok nice, well my buddy with the mk3 is selling his 20g turbo, it has less than 3k miles on it and its ported. he was pushing 22psi with it but started hitting fuel cut. but i think the 20g might be able to push near 30psi, not sure. And the stock motor? im not sure how much boost it'll hold. ill see my friend later today at the dragstrip and check. a 57 trip turbo would be good at 14psi on a stock motor i think, but dont hold me to it haha. ill check though and let you know. good luck man!

i checked with him, and theres actually a guy he knows with a 700+whp mk3 on a STOCK bottom end. :-) and yea you will be good running more boost, might wanna upgrade the fuel system too. And he tunes it on 110 octane but can run 93 on the streets if needed, and its reliable enough to drive daily, he hasnt installed his new parts yet though. he uses his 87 celica gts as a daily for the most part...or his girlfriends supercharged tiburon haha hope i helped though, if you have any other ?'s lmk

yea i dont blame you, he was running 17-22psi on 93 octane before he pulled the motor to upgrade everything. and yea im kinda wondering how he made 700whp on stock internals. search for "Seans Mk3 supra dyno stock block record" his car is yellow in the vid picture, thats the guy. how many miles are on your car? as long as you dont dog the hell out of it, you could run 14psi easy, almost on the stock fuel system
