  • Every year for the past 6 yrs I've stayed in Petaluma for a Jazz fest over in Sonoma. Wish I had known Mesa was there I would've gone right over to ck em out. Hopefully this year I'll be back and to do it .

  • you look at the video, all the guys are working hard! not even talking! im sure on days when theyre not filming they fuck around and swear and have a great time XD

  • Skillful People at MesaBoogie: Can you send me one of those, being the 30000th viewer of this video?

  • No wonder those fucking things are so expensive...

  • i don't know.... looks like a dream job to me! hell i'd even consider paying them to work there(just kidding!) but i would love it just the same!

  • who else would love to test mesa's for a living?

  • insane! I'm so switching to mesa from now on. true hand made shit

  • @MyLifeChanger cost you 8 times the amount as well ;)

  • @MyLifeChanger

you hit the nail on the head - it is true handmade SHIT

  • marshall tour is amazing shit.. since i saw that tour i sold my avt150h and cab. went bought blackstar amp (probably same shit) but boogie one day least its the quality of componets. and human testing the wood quality etc.. marshall like buying a kia or a ford focus yeah its a 1.4 litre engine what u want. oh yeah the doors well there like metal but not.. the wires there like wires but not lol so u gonna give me £1k for this mode four or not?

  • so, i was taking a dump...and I realized, Mesa Boogie must have a factory tour on youtube..and here i am.

  • @bchewdown Just as long as you wiped and washed your hands before you left the bathroom...:-)

  • Being a long time Boogie fan and customer,it is a delight to see how it all gets put together.I ordered an amp back in 1982 when they were still a very small company and doing it by hand.Excrutiating having to wait for it to be built but cool anyway.

P.S. I want the amp testing guys job.Shit I would actually look forward to work every day and weekends to! great video!

  • This is cool to see how they are made. Talk about a dream job!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @classickbass The beauty of America.. You can do whatever you want with your life.. thats the true American Dream!!!!

  • I totally agree with nolatone...

  • Ok, I hate to be contrary, but this processes they use with the die cut vinyl has taken almost ALL the art out of covering a cabinet. The art in in getting the corners and contours to come out clean, and with that die cut thing, they are already notched and don't require near the skill to deal with. Of course, that's a great way to do it, I wish I had the space and tooling for that, but 'cmon, don't call it art. What those dudes were doing was a cake walk!

  • @nolatone I appreciate what you're saying but being a manufacturer and a U.S one at that, costs are critical and automating processess allows them to keep healthy margins. I'm not disputing what you're saying however, this is the reality. Stay cool.

  • the dude at the end was playing a real sweet Fender G. E. Smith signature Telecaster, just and amazing guitar. and mesa makes the best amps around!!!!

  • What kind of glue was used on the tolex ?

  • This factory tour is far better than the Marshall one also on YouTube (can you say droll and automated?). It's great to actually see human hands working on at least part of the gear that we buy, verses it being done 100% by CNC.
