@fireblademaster100 Robo's first tv series came out in 67, Meaning it appeared between Tetsujin and Mazinger. Both Tetsujin and Giant Robo were actually made by the same guy BTW. Whether or not they're supers depends on whether you think being pilotable is a requirement of being a Super Robot. I personally have no real stand on it.

@bdpickett truthfully i believe not all super robots have to be piloted like some transformers and the brave series excluding gaogaigar, king j-der, and maybe might gaine or might kaiser but what i am saying is that go nagai made piloted super robots, except maybe for the originally Jeeg because Hiroshi turns into the head but yeah not all super robots have to be piloted, they just have to have super powers, unique weapons or energy source that isn't realistic and or have a mind of it's own

@bdpickett exactly,but what i think makes a true super robot is not just the weapons, the powers, or if they have a pilot or are sentient, what makes a True super robot is just good old fashioned Super Robot Spirit, the power of hot-bloodedness, even if a mech is considered to be a real robot but has a the look and feel of a super robot and has enough hot-bloodedness i'll consider it a super robot, like Dai-guard or some gundams

That's not true- she goes into a coma when she leaves Mamoru's protective field (Unless I've missed something, but I'm pretty certain I remember her passing out after she activated Final Fusion for Genesic). She begins to regenerate, and can communicate on a telepathic level with Papillon, but she's still in a coma.

Guy, on the other hand, has a G-Stone fused into his body, allowing him to shield himself.
