I think the Lakers gave up there in the end but the Pistons were matched up very very good against the Lakers...they didnt have Malone healthy though..but all in all Pistons just had LA's number that year.
SeanSawx05 I am 5 8 and I dunk all the time in official games. I m in my school's varsity team and my dunking excites everybody (the girls haha). It was truthfully extremely simple, I just followed the nba training program over at |50 inch vertical [dot] com| - I m sure you can probably do it too
2004 NBA Finals Gm 5 Los Angeles @ Detroit Part 6/11
as a laker fan i was so pissed at this team cuz they didnt even put up a fight. the whole team seemd like they didnt want to play wit each other anymore.
and the pistons were just flat out dominant. one of the best defensive teams i had ever seen
Most of the Lakers team was playin injured...and they had NO bench like they did with the 1st 3 championships. The Lakers were in the Finals by fluke. They had an easy 1st and 2nd round and easily beat a injury-ridden Minnesota team in the Conference Finals. The Pistons were healthier, more complete, and just the better TEAM.
@1stcopahittheground Just think, If Sheed didnt leave Robert Horry WIDE OPEN in Game 5 of the 2005 Finals for that GW 3 Pointer, Pistons win it in SA, in Game 6 and back to back titles but Horry is Mr. Clutch. lol
@NBaBall3r26 Age gets us all and throw in a broken leg and various other injuries. Also, something else to consider is playoff mileage. I've seen players who go deep into players, they seem to wear down faster than players on bad teams.

Ben Wallace reminds of Dennis Rodman, just hustling like a pimp
modernway91 1 year ago 2
@modernway91 Nowhere near as versatile a defender as Rodman, though, and certainly not the master of the mind game like The Worm.

its a seven game series and whoever wins 4 games first (the most out of seven) wins the series... was that a serious question???

Big Ben was so determined back then, too. Now he kinda hestitated on defense, rebound, everything. It almost looked like a different Ben Wallace.
