sorry to break it to anyone, if k40 was better than the v1...etc. you'd see it advertised more, but it's not, if team polezie from gumball uses v1, you know not to trust any other detector, and bel sti is pretty good, i'm a v1 zombie....:)

instant on is when the officer sees you while sitting in his car and flips the switch wich the guns already on just on stand by. wich it does emmitt waves, oh an when that happends the defuser just simply sends an error message to his gun. no ticket. happens all the time.

This video is showing RADAR K band and NOT Lidar, there is a big difference between the 2. Radar is emitting RF waves and bounced back to the antenna, Lidar is IR light pulsed at the target and returned to the receiver for calculation.

RADAR= RF

LIDAR= IR LIGHT

See the difference dickhead. Who the hell buys a V6 mustang anyway..lol

I am a trained radar and laser user and i can tell you now the K40 does not turn off lidar or radar guns, I myself have shot K40 and got E04 and E07 jam codes on Stalker and Ultralyte, I have also used k 40 against radar with NIL effect on speed reading.

Have you ever shot a Lidar gun..id say not.

Instant on radar means the gun is in standby mode and is NOT transmitting RF waves in other words it is OFF so you cant get a speed reading and you cant detect it thats why instant on is deadly, you can get a speed before he detects you, in this videoit is a Beltronics STi radar detector, not a cheap detector ,

Dont you hear the damn detector saying "K-band", I dont think a laser gun operatest a 24 GHZ "k-band" frequency. A laser gun operates under "light". Laser and radar are 2 totally different things, even controlled by different government programs. Laser is controlled by the FDA, and radar by the FCC.

well, v1 and bel and escorts is the best.The STI is good for the states that u cant have radar detectors if u always wat to have it on but u can get by with outit if u use ur head. i order the belv955 today it will be at my door step in the morning 6/22 cant wait.

It is showing a Police car using instant on radar, he waits till he sees a car then hits them with radar to obtain a instant speed reading, it is showing a Beltronics detector receiving the radar signal. Instant on is one of the hardest to beat, as soon as it is turned on he has your speed.
