Yes, it's true. I use facebook as an excuse to procrastinate. I usually check it and log off, but I surf the web for non-sense, then after one hour I check my facebook again. I usually end up in an endless loop, and when I realize I've wasted a lot of time : (

I would also suggest that when you want to surf the internet, before write down everything you want to research and when everything is checked off on your list, shut down the computer.
