The drama makes sense once you realize this is actually game 3 of the series (Husky mislabeled the games.)

In all three games, Raine countered almost everything Sync did perfectly, sometimes without scouting. Sync got suspicious and implied that Raine was cheating. Raine immediately got hyper-defensive.

@ScooScott why not? hallucinations were there in starcraft 1, where high templars could spawn them, and now the sentries can use this ability.

hallucinations aren't used often, but their main use is scouting (a phoenix hallucination in the early stages of the game can give you huge scouting information) or decoy (enemy units focus-fire hallucinations but it's just energy that's lost, similar to infested terrans)
