  • Okay then...

  • Die Konstruktion ist genial. Darf ich fragen was das für Antriebe sind?

  • Ok I don't know about yall, but I have never seen a human eye do most of that.

  • ha ha wanna see it shake faster and all the iris and lens fall apart.

  • Now all we need is floating cameras so everyone can be in the shot!!

  • Great robot, Good idea.

  • This robot so cool.

  • I like it.

  • It's great.

  • WHEATLEY!!

  • Now: Looks up and down.

    20 years from now:

    *SCANS*

    01010010000001010

    MATCH FOUND!

    KILL JOHN CONNER!

  • very cool!!

  • เจ๋งดีครับ

  • Super cool

  • Please take out my eyes, and replace it with this please.

  • Excuse me but what would you call the robotic eye of yours ?

  • Please make two of them controlled sequentially and then add a nice red LED imitating the Cyberdine System 101 Terminator Models eyes!

  • No-one in the comments realises that the human eye moves incredibly fast...

and this has given me the sadness :(

    :C

  • This camera moves fast enough to see Michael J Fox.

    coz of parkinsons.

  • Very clever motor layout, is that just 3 motors creating all those ranges of movement? What kind of motors are those, made from scratch?

Congradulations, the "twitch" eye movement is a big hurdle to overcome accurately!

  • and our top story tonight.... Apple has released the iEye.

  • Don't tell me that this is Apple new product the "iEye captain" or "iDance eye"

  • What this coin is doing there?

  • @diazpuentes so you can compare the size of the coin with the camera :)

  • German people shows again their advanced technology.

  • Well, i saw the same robotic eye design in 1999 in Canada, i think it was at the University of Quebec or McGill university. They made a public video available online back in the days. Anyone has a link, i can't find one.

  • 0:40-0:50 Boogie down!

  • Since now we will never lose a fast scene in sports, no more unseen goals or points...

  • equipamento vai ser usado no iphone 5 kkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @caahl novo olho do T-800 (esterminador do futuro) muitu boa xD

  • @mba7120

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk essa foi boaaaaa

  • @LeadPaintSandwich @ZombieGorePrincess: I looks like a 1 euro coin to me.

  • muito maneira, evolution!!!

  • it mimics the human eye except for the fact that it can move 5 times as fast. be VERY AFRAID

  • I have no idea whatever that is they have next to it for size comparison, so it doesn't really work.

  • My vision is augmented.

  • >:O dont pl understand that this is how it will be on 2012! Robots killing...kinda like terminator.....

  • @sweman62 oh this is nothing ^_^ this is just robotics. You should see what a hybrotic system is capable of :D

  • This makes me nervous.

  • wow.. it really does mimics our ocular muscles

  • I wanna see the footage from its camera XD

  • in soviet russia you robot or else.

  • Oh, what a harmless looking camOMFG KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!!!!

  • Hey guys, please help me by watching my volcano video to get a good grade in my geology class. Thanks :)

  • Its some weird robot eye dance

  • ok Im pretty sure eyes dont spin.

  • @YourtubeConnection the robots already have one up on us D:

  • WE ARE FUCKED

  • Aimbot eye..

  • FUNNY MY EYES DO THAT ALL THE TIME.

  • solid snakes eye

  • skynet detected )))

  • The three people watching the camera output on a monitor died of epilepsy.

  • lol............schaut lustig aus.

  • the creator will die soon, an accident waiting to happen, from THE TERMINATOR! ZOMGZOMGZOMGZ

  • shit that thing moves faster than my eyeball..

  • 0:40 fuck yes, do the boogie.

  • shake shake shake....shake shake shake...shake your bootay

  • super

  • I would take that eye over mine any day of the week.

  • If your eyes do that you should probably see a doctor.

  • 0:39

    My eye can't do that...

  • Skype......Sky Net.....Sky....hmmmm

  • Has Skynet taught us nothing!?

  • mounting a dildo on it will reach all g spots

  • Just Beautiful! =)

  • Is it suppose to be a sex toy?

  • I could invent better, if I wanted to... ;P

  • Is that one of those SYBIAN machines???

  • new porn technology

  • BAHAHAHAHA who the fuck can move there eye that fast?!

  • @michelXShawn Its those little movements that you do unintentionally. Human eye moves quite fast. And if they do a camera that supposed to model eye, it has to move as fast or faster than real eye to work.

  • @SpecklePattern lol i know that, but the part were the robotic eye is having a seizure lol funny xD

  • LOL it looks like its dancing

  • i dont really see any similarity to this and a human eye but okay

  • 0:40 ... WOW it even dances!!!

  • Google should buy the Institute of Applied Mechanics.

  • KILL IT !!!!!!!

  • I'm sorry butt my eye doesn't do that when I'm spanking my monkey.

  • shake it, shake it¡¡¡ :D

  • 0:38 Why would you ever need to take a picture like that?

  • @teh1tronner it's a proof of concept... showcasing the ability.

  • its jarvis

  • I'm firin' my laser!

  • Yes, we have the robotics mostly done. In the next decade, we will be able to build a robotic body that can balance itself and is extremely agile, dexterous, quick and strong.

The problem is developing an A.I. that can utilize such a body on it's own. Our A.I. is still lightyears behind our robotics. If someone can develop an A.I. that can think and learn on it's own and program itself, then I will be impressed.

  • SkyNet has started production...

  • I don't think my eye can do that.

  • looks great wonder how much it cost to make

  • Heh... I love the samba that it does at 0:38

I just imagine the song "Cuban Pete" playing. Heh...

  • @spokehedz You just gave me an idea for a video!

  • 0:39 Epic !

  • proof of nearing to extinction

  • shake your tailfeathers.... :P

  • yepp all this but more advance are inside u lol. dont u just love the art of nature

  • @phodacbiet And how exactly do you define "more advance"? This camera moves way faster than the human eye, has more degrees of movement (rotation) and cameras are better than the human eye in many ways (infrared, microscopic vision and more).

  • @blackicede not sure it moves faster than the human eye. The human eye moves incredibly fast, especially during microsaccades

  • New Eyes for T 800.

  • @caaahl :)))

  • i can see these mechanisms getting a few women excited, but thats me.

  • now the question is how does that fit in/on your head??

  • wow

  • ok.... so do we get to see the video that it took?

  • @littlejager it was used to film Cloverfield

  • And I thought people would have two eyes.

  • One of those jaw dropping moments again.

  • I wish eye could rotate :P

  • @RoboTekno Look in a mirror and tilt your head, you will see your eyes rotating.

  • @strombom Tilting your head only revolves your eyes around your neck region, not the central axis aligned with the pupil or like the lens of the camera and ball and socket joint of the mount in the video ^_^

  • @RoboTekno The eyes can indeed, to a limited degree, rotate around the y, x as well as the z axis of the eye. Look in the mirror and tilt your head, you will see the axis through the iris will stay fixed relative to the ground while the head rotates around the axis through the neck.

  • that's so cool, it almost looks fake it's so quick!
