It sounds to me like ZP was hasn't had much experience singing acoustically, he sounds fine when he's able to belt out the song but it sounds like he genuinely doesn't know how to sing in a softer tone.

finally another sensible person, zp is such a mediocre singer I get tired of all the fanboys that think hes amazing. People like Morby(Domine) Daniel Heiman(Lost Horizon) are on a whole other level of talent but hardly have as much recognition as ZP. I don't think so. Even considering DF's songs have huge amounts of solos and "no-vocal riffs"(they just explored talents from both artists). The band was amazing with him, and i'll absolutely miss it. Sadly it's too late to make up again(imo).
