This is my favorite kind of video, and I really really appreciate the range of products you are "reviewing". I enjoyed seeing everything from LA colors which I find at my local Dollar Store, to drugstore/target brands, to indie/mineral company brands. Great ideas, I love your shopping videos, I always sit here with a little list. I'm a big fan of Sonia Kashuk brushes, they're great quality and so affordable compared to other brands. You should look into her other brushes as well, I love the blush brush, one of my favorites.

I love the EDM blushes too, hon!!! GameShow looks amazing on your skin!! Breathtakingly beautiful!! I'd love to see you try the Best Friends blush...it's matte as well. It's a dusty, rosey, plumy, mauvey color? lolol! Hence the EDM blushes being so unique....kinda hard to describe..but I think it would look gorgeous on you. It imparts a nice, natural flush and all you need is a tiny bit.

I have this HIP mascara and it is great but I have a better one! and it costs a little over a dollar, when i wear it, people think I have falsies on, there is nothing blacker on earth!, it is a Mexican brand called IM made with natural ingredients that are nourish the lashes: oils of the pit of a fruit called mamei, I have no idea if this brand is exported to the US but i would love to swap one or more of this with anyone who is curious to try it for stuff that I can't get in Mexico.

Emily, That Mineral Power concealer is MY LOVE! I am obsessed with it! : ) You know it is odd, however, I can't find the right match in the foundation though. Have you used the foundation? We seem to be the same shade (from other times you have mentioned Rimmel shades, etc.). If you have purchased the Mineral Power foundation do you remember what shade? I purchased some the other day and it was too dark..I would hate to buy again only to require return yet again! *pulls hair! Thanks! :)

I agree with the hip mascara it does give a falsie effect, but it clumps on me so if you have a good 5-10 extra minutes every morning to separate them I'd get it.

Semi off-topic question: Could you explain what the differences among EDM's blush categories ( matte, sheen, shimmer, and lucent ) are?

I believe xteener has a really good video explaining the different categories of all EDM's products, but -matte should be obvious. Matte means there is no shimmer to the color at all--it just goes on flat and pretty. Sheen would give you a very slight shimmer (like satin) when put on your cheeks--maybe a little glowy. Shimmer is shimmery. And lucent ---I haven't even seen this one, but I would assume it would have brighteners in it to make your face appear brighter.

Great video :-) I have one of those L.A. Colors 5 Shadow Palettes in Wine and Roses. They are so pigmented its crazy and I got it at the local Family Dollar for $1.50. Just a little tidbit as to where else they can be found.

I love that Sonia Kashuk brush! It's awesome! :D And I was totally going to ask you what concealers you recommended for covering redness and blemishes. I'll definitely give the Mabelline Mineral Power a try! I also recently got the Loreal HIP mascara. It took me awhile to find it in my area, so I snagged one. So far I like it!

I use the Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer every day and though i don't really have pimples it gets rid of little imperfections here and there and makes my face look FLAWLESS i love it too! :) And not once has it broken me out, and i have very sensitive skin!
