i love the raw acoustic feel to this song. i think personally the drum machine may even be too much for an acoustic version. it adds a nice back beat in this video. so that'd be your call. but i like the way it sounds.
are you using a drum machine? the drum part sounds really empty. so i was just wondering. the lyrics are really good as is your singing, but you strain on the screaming part and drift sharp. but keep writin and playin and stuff. i just happened upon ur video because i was looking for a song to tell someone to stop lying and to leave me alone...but i havent had any luck yet and y'alls is like the twentieth one i have watched. good job.
Hi Kate, thanks for your comments, yes it's a drum machine and yes I do strain my voice in parts but thanks for your support...I hope you find what your looking for..:)..Paul.
Hi, Thanks for posting, I appreciate your input, yes your right on all counts, I have done a mix with echo but I felt it lost it's raw acoustic feel..as for the electric part..yes..we have tried a second guitar that my friend Bri plays..he does a solo part and fill in...sounds sweet but as yet we've not got together to finalise it and lay it down...thanks for your comments..:)

I will give pure honesty:
Good shit.. Definitely add a slight echo to the mic, Maybe swap that guitar with an electric ("Maybe") and give the drums a bit more welly.
Name of band: Avalanche
.. I'm no musician, I'm just speaking from a listeners shoes.
I'm about to lose everything I own; including my home, don't even now why I'm posting a response here, anyway good luck.
