Technique and speed are both required so stop arguing. Just keep practicing. Speed will keep your momentum going and that will make your swipes flow smoother and technique much more clean.
your hips aren't high enough (i had same problem), speed will come with time, and i see no more mistakes except hips being low, had to say (i found this video because i watched swipes slo-mo and i got it on utube home page (front page))
yeah and i saw it was 5 years ago but i commented only so other can see mistake and so you can see there aren't too many posers ;) and i am interested if you steel do break dance ?
@MANDIC2 Unfortunately I can't find the time to breakdance anymore. I'm much to involved with academics and athletics. =( Its always a pleasure to watch local competitions =P
so if you want i could send you some videos (of me and my friends) after we got our video recorded, we dance for a full year and i must say we are pretty good for such a short time ;)
