Regardless of it's dark purpose Triumph of the Will is a beautiful film, and was extremely effective in allowing Hitler to commit terrible acts upon the rest of the world with no resistance from his followers.

I think the widespread misconception that all Obama has is a oratory ability is largely due to TV media's tendency to 'boil down' (read: gloss over) the stance of politicians, making them bite-sized, easy to report. Obama has consistently forwarded good policy concerning health-care, education, and putting an end to a bullshit war.
