My mic is fixed now! It was actually a very stupid mistake on my part. The footage had no sound because I needed to convert it first and when I tried to record my voice, I talked too quietly. So I freaked out for a few days and then realized as soon as I finished making the video that my mic, in fact, did work.

YAY.
