i wanted to make this video series, then God showed me someone already had (I'm being dead serious). This is one of the most important messages ever preached and yet it has 900 views?.....Thats absolutely knee trembling scary. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me understand who and what I am before a Holy and Almighty God. Please pray God shows me that I dont deserve what Christ has given me, I am so prideful in thinking Im not that bad or completely need His Grace.
Just watched and read comments , I am now thinking what would Jesus say about your video ? Abba - I think we have a listener at Last !!!!!! I am studying Fredrich Nietzsche also Theology , here in Ireland . when Nietzsche said God is dead and we killed him . he was right . Also he said Jesus was the first and last christian to die on the cross . True for me . It is time to become desciplies of the truth . In which this intails , reading the scripture in private and be heart to heart with God .
Thank you sooooo much for your kind words Silmalia I am so glad you liked the videos. Please check them all out I hope they bless you. they are all ment to be seen in chronological order and be like one big movie
The entire idea of people 'deciding' for Christ is completely unscriptural.
When Nicodemus asked our Lord how he could be saved, Jesus did not say "Decide to follow me'. He said in John "No man can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him'.
Why do people insist that they can 'decide' for Christ when Jesus made it clear that this is not the way to be saved!
Salvation is from God, it is not the one who 'runs or wills, but God who has mercy'.
@silmalila I agree with you, but when Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart, you are the one who has to open the door. This doctrine resulted in the Netherlands in many passive Christians 'waiting' till God 'draws' them. That's a dangerous thing, you can only say it afterwards that faith is a gift from God, but now I gotta repent from sin, I gotta search, I GOTTA MAKE WAR against sin, I am doing it, but it's the Holy Spirit who makes me do it.
And what I understand from you, at least the thoughts came up, but I know you don't mean it that way. But I was thinking like, oh you know why don't I just go out there watching nice girls on the internet, I mean when the time is right God will draw me to Him and save me... That's a bad thought and interpretation of your words but I know people personally who think like that and who do not turn to Christ cause they only hear this doctrine saying it all has to come from God.
I believe that when the Father draws you to Jesus, He is irresistable.
I believe in predestination. God's elect will come to Him, it has been forordained. When we are loved by God, naturally our desire is to please Him. We may not always succeed, but He knows our heart's desire is for Him, and not the world.
Obviously you are correct ... the bible clearly states that He chose us, not the other way around. Furthermore, our names were written in the Lamb's book of life from the foundation of the world.
I have enjoyed these videos you put out on Dei Gratia and I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say on the Doctrines of Salvation.
Of course, the very word "doctrines" is a swear word today to those who will not believe that there are doctrines in the Bible and these doctrines are backed up by scripture. I am amused, yet appalled at how the masses will not look at the Scriptures that back up the dotrines, but rather they will insist on calling them "doctrines of men"!
For too long, the doctrines of Salvation have been treated in a "flighty" manner, specifically in the 20th century from the 1960's onwards. Personally, I think many were saved by God DESPITE the wonky teachings floating around. Then in more recent years we have those who tell us we must repent in order to be saved. While repentance is perfectly Biblical, we are not saved by repentance, rather repentance flows out of the work God does in those He elected from the foundation of the earth.
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4-7
God has always had an elect people. He saves them by the New Birth!
thank you soo much everyone for your wonderful and encouraging comments. Dont forget though that this is part 2 of 2 to the introduction I noticed many are checking this video out and not so much the first. I realy hope you all enjoy the entire series. and thanks again sooo much!
You know how to make a video look good. Curious about the content of your following videos.
So far...this dude at the beginning of the video sounded like was trying to sell Christ Jesus as a commodity you choose to your liking and add to your life and take like a fast-food hamburger....what a preposterous, blasphemous, anti-Gospel way to speak.
Who is the cornball in the first 2 minutes of the vid? He tells the congregation, "I know you wanna get to the restaurant, I know that's important?"
THAT'S important? What a limp-wristed, spineless thing to say. There's a reason Paul said only men can be pastors. They should really find one to fill his position.
The preacher God used to reach me once told a congregation if they didn't like what he was saying they could LEAVE.
I have to agree with you on the 'cornball' part, brother. Look at how aggressive he is also. That was EXTREMELY annoying to me. It makes me not wanna listen to him at all. ....I think I'm gonna...barf....
Thanks again, optera34. I'm looking forward to the other parts. The suspense is killing me.
(I'm a sister - LOL.) Sometimes all I have to do is look at some of these people & before one word comes out of their mouth, I just KNOW they're from the devil. It's like they have this creepy, luciferin "glow" about them - the LORD's name is after every other word that comes out of their mouth, & a percentage of what they say is biblical, but it's just a matter of time before the heresy rears it's head. They're either telling us we can be "as God" like Toole Eckhart, or distracting us from God.

How then are we saved?
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Amen and Amen Thank you for this

...Which is a gift from God.
It is NOT our gift to Him!
That is just heresy!
silmalila 2 years ago
What is more, Afrikitty, we know that we are unable to repent unless God first regenerates us.
We are not able to choose Christ; God must draw us to Him or we would never be saved!
Salvation is a work of God from regeneration all the way through glorification.
God bless you my sister. I only wish that professing Christians had the wisdom that you do...
This hatred for the Doctrines of Grace leads me to wonder at the salvation of those who reject them...
Salvation is by grace through faith.
