  • question... what do people do with odd shaped pearls? i've never seen it in a jewelry store before...

  • @MaxC17 Well, people are still doing what people have done since early -prehistoric- times: they wear these "odd shaped" pearls. You have to understand that 100% round pearls are very rare in Nature, so fully round (cultured) pearls are a very young invention (since the 1930's in commercial quantities).

The reason why you don't find baroque (appropriate name for odd shaped pearls) shapes are many, amongst these: it is easier to set a fully round pearl on already made, mass produced jewelry items

  • Es el resultado de la dedicación y confianza en su propio concepto. This is the result of dedication and a sense of "farmers' '" confidence in their own unique concept. The reward: that beatiful and unmatched glow and color. El resultado, ese hermoso color no igualado

  • @saetapoeta And it is also the oyster's incredible genetic make-up, responsible for coming up with this unique trick!

Y también es responsabilidad de la ostra, que con su increíble constitución genética es capaz de producir estos bellos colores y tener esta interesante fluorescencia.

  • cool thats really cool

  • It is indeed... :)
