She has good taste! I can certainly tell the difference. Call me a Luddite but I reject most everything that is computer generated. CGI and computer generated music is simply a way to create talent where none exists. There's a place for both but they are both overused.

Yup! I've grown children so enamored by CGI they can't see beauty in films that don't use it.I love B/W and hated colorization of classic films to make them more 'watchable.' I've dozens of pre-'60 films.Sure, some special effects are primitive, even laughable but they rely on performance and star power.There isn't an actor alive with the charisma of Grant, Bogart, Coleman, Wayne, Fonda, and many others.I watch B/W films because of the actors.Any film staring Bogart etc is always watchable!
