Love the new design, can't wait to see how fast the R version will be. Hopefully when they bring the R here to the us VW doesn't screw is over and give us less horse power like they did to the new golf R
VW Crossfire, anyone? I thought the last revision of the new beetle was the best in terms of classic styling. They took a lot of cues from the RSI Beetle and put them to good use. It actually looked like a 911 decendant. The Beetle was never a masculine car, but they could have added way more color options to help this and VW was far to lazy to bother.
@Jaiv74 Just "The Beetle",a s far as I know. It's like the VW Gold. There have being plenty of versions during the years, with different designs, but the car still has the same name :)

@dankoro i have a VW and i luv it...amd i'm thinking to get a new beetle... but even Fiat 500, Lancia Delta (that was the best car ever in WRC) have still the same name...unfortunatly the Delta konw is a piece of shit :( the F.500 still rocks in abarth dress is awesome
@LBB988 you made a comment about the beetle's headlights and i thought about it also. Just my opinion that's all but don't you think this car would look REALLY gay with the led all around thew headlight like some pearl necklace or something. Actually no leds might look even better. LED's say to me "look at me I'm german' in a pretentious kind of way. Anyway, cheers.

@zoics1 Well Ferdinand Porsche did design the original Beetle and the Porsche. So that's why they look similar.
