Simply put... Is the life of a German soldier more important than the life of an Afghan child? German soldiers in a foreign land, supporting Karzai, whose government is riddled with drug traffickers and corruption. German soldiers, armed and willing to kill, against unarmed women and children. American airplanes, dropping bombs on unarmed civilians. Obviously, the military is uncivilised and needs to be stopped.

The Germans are correct on their actions:

1. Fuel tankers were stolen

2. Civilian at the stolen tankers are supporters.

3. The Civilians that stayed in the area were sympathizers.

4. The civilians that ran in the oppoiste direction of the stolen tankers were smart

sympathizers to the militants.

Germans took the correct action because an opportunity does not wait for 4-5 levels of decision making.

Any ways the German and US should shake hands because we all know it is just a media circus.

It's obvious they would have turned these things into their own bombs to use against allied forces. And the Taliban does not care about civilian deaths. They would have blown up those tankers no matter how many civilians were around.

my bad. i read over it to fast. the german army waited 10 hours to get to the site. SO the german commander said they waited to long to get to the site. This is important because they said if you do not get there first the first report of the killing will be done by the taliban. And the first report is the one that usually sticks with the public. something like that.

For anybody else who was stealing from those fuel trucks, the moral is simple... do not go near allied equipment or supplies unless you want to get your ass shot or blown up.

You Frenchies ought to stop condemning the actions of other EU nations and take a stand for once.

These Taliban hijacked two fuel trucks from the US and allied forces... then they did their usual trick of putting innocent civilians in harms way by telling them they could all have free fuel.

This is typical Taliban... take advantage of people in poverty and hide behind children.

The moral of this story is stay the hell away from US supplies... what did they think would happen??
