  • Ayahuasca is a vine, a root, a plant of this earth. It is a spiritual cleansing not a drug to get high off. it doesnt have side effects it has power to make you face your fears that people who use alcohol and other man made drugs are too scared to face. higherwayswoman...shut the fuck up and go get high in your corner or educate yourself about this sacred ritual.Same as the rest of you ignorant naive bastards that think you can comment with no knowledge base or respect towards Ayahuasca.

  • is there a church in spain called santa daimyo? i need healing, the city makes me sick

  • Saying that "kava kava and marijuana does not give the same unpleasant side effects as ayahuasca" sounds like bullshit and also shows a lack of understanding. Those are not "side effects" they are part of the ceremony -- this isn't about taking a drug that will give you a groovy trip, it's about working with a plant and a shaman that will help you do the hard work of facing your shadow, purging if needed, and coming out cleansed and healed. The medicine is much more than a drug.

  • I don't drink alcohol or smoke etc. I just came back from Tierra Vida healing retreat in the area of Pucallpa, Peru. It was a 2 week healing retreat, we brewed our own ayahusca and worked with Shipibo Shamans. It was absolutely PRICELESS.

This medicine is not for the faint of heart but well worth the effort. Kicking your ego's ass can turn out to be fun for the inner warrior in you:) Taking drugs like alcohol etc. doesn't take guts, just requires some numbness. If you want to be AWAKE try this!

  • @GODandEinstein hey brother. I read your thing about tierra vida would you mind telling me more about it? im looking to take a trip to peru at the end of december. Can you message me about how much it was and arrangements etc. Thanks brother.

  • @ethiotoronto google tierravidahealing

  • I see a place of strange words, filled with tubes! All people watch, yet who really sees?

    A.G.

  • @AussieGriffin are you talking about Youtube?

  • @smartzazi I'm talking about everything in a sense... yet that's just my way of saying "yes".

    A.G.

  • where can i get some of this or make it my self give me info please!

  • It's abundantly clear to anyone with open eyes that Ayahuasca's integrity as a sacrament is absolutely untouchable. The word drug is not understood by the masses and until it is I do not expect people to understand the genuinity of the Ayahuasca experience. I've been working with her a lot recently :) I'd recommend anyone to seek her out if your intentions are in check - she'll meet you well then.

  • ayahuasca saved my life. and it brought me out a deep dark hole of evil. it turned me into a very deep loving person

  • x3 I want ayahuasca!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There is so much to be learned from these experiences. It's a shame they are so frowned upon in the western world.

  • Kava Kava & Marijuana does NOT cause these unpleasant side effects as seen/known to occur with Ayahausca. Enjoy!

  • Kava Kave & marijuana will give you the same results as Ayahausca. For a quicker uptake I use the kava kava drops mixed w/a cup of warm water. After 30mins then use ur canabis. You will experience True Spiritual Knowledge...True Understanding. Before doing this have some idea's of what you r wanting to know the Truth about. Kava in capsules take around 1,500mgs. Kava Kava is in the Ayahausca/Ibogaine Family. I stumbled onto this recipe, or led 2 it. Heart patients refrain or be very careful

  • @HigherWaysWoman Have you used ayahuasca? This seems like a very naive statement.

  • soulds like he chanting for poonani :P

  • Does anyone know which plants native to south-east Asia contain MAOI? I'm looking for a Thai version of syrian rue seeds.

  • that little kid is hard core :P I wish I grew up with these ceremonies!

  • Does anyone know the song at :37 ??????

  • i wonder how many brain cells it kills and how bad it is for your lvier/kidneys etc??

  • surely the kid at 6:40 is a bit young!!!

  • @JahMoth

I agree. seemed to be a smaller amount though.

  • @JahMoth this is my opinion: they want the kids to basically begin cleansed so that from that point on they could see true right from wrong.

  • This is no drug and the experience is not an internally generated one that one should treat without respect. This experience is a journey, a journey of your consciousness or spirit leaving your body and connecting with a higher level of consciousness, the realm or spirit world without physicality, an all encompassing consciousness that we are just walking, talking, phisical expressions of. shamanism is a religion of direct contact of the spirit realm, a realm of knowing awareness.

  • Far out!

  • im off to try this for the first time in just a couple hours.. nervous as fuck..

  • @narcotect its quite vile tasting and expect you will be pewking a bit

  • @sirpico123 - yeh was like concentrated vine piss.. didnt throw up but was coming out the other end most of the night, definitely upsets your stomach... was worth the experience though, a different variation to the psychedelic experience..

  • what's he smoking and what's in that bottle??

  • @SlugDropsonheads

He's smoking tobacco, using the smoke to anoint the ayahuasca (that's what's in the bottle) and all of the objects used in the ceremony.

  • I believe we can get to the same spiritual place or journey into our unconscious through breath work and our natural abilites also. The only difference between this approach and the ayahuasca approach is that one is like going on a trip on a slow pony and the other is like going in a rocket!! Ther are no breaks, no control, just shoots you right into space. It depends on what you prefer.

  • Cool gonna get some for bonaroo next year....Hopefully my Dad can hire one of these dudes to be a personal Shaman at the lake house.....like one i have partys....you know...and i wont be drankin it out of some beat up Mello Yello 2 liter it'll have to b a pimp cup.....

  • @pimpleneck79 I hope you're kidding. I wouldn't treat this plant as a recreational drug. Do your research.

  • @philly12887 - i will have to disagree on this one, despite all the hype online. like acid, mushrooms, mescaline etc Ayahuasca for me was just a different twist to the usual psychedelic experience. Although the ritual was done in a spiritual context, it still was simply a bunch of people, getting fucked up, playing music, dancing. and they do it recreationally (ie once a month).i was hoping for a profound spiritual experience, but they were the usual visuals with creeping warm and cold waves.

  • i only take psychedelics for fun

  • I did not really understand this the Healing part was easy to grasp the art was cool though the rest was a bit weird.

  • este video es una preciosidad, me ha encantado !! si les gusta el Chamanismo Mirenlo !!

This video is great, Please watch !!

  • this vidéo is closer to the views that are experienced, and work with the ayahuasca vine of the souls, it is a powerful tool for self knowledge that reveals who we really are, what we are doing here and what we do to perfect ourselves as human beings interacting and respected nature in a comprehensive way.

  • I went Spirit Questing with Ayahausca Spiritquest in Peru.

Very very professional. It changed my life, no amount of LSD could give me the benefits Ayahuasca has, or the Shamans that administered it. Going back next summer without fail :-)

  • @mummiefied Is that with Howard? I have seen their website. You would recommend them then?

  • @mummiefied how was it im super intrested in trying it i think its time for a change

  • The children aren't concealed from reality. Westerners are so hypocritical...

  • smoke em peace pipe

  • yes but, i'm not happy to see child (07:00) to take ayahuasca. For my opinion te pische of child is not prepar to this. My opinion. But nothing against this traditon.

    Very interesting video!

    (sorry 4 my horrible english)

  • @punkv00 Have you ever had Ayahuasca?

This plant medicine is also good for children, if you ever experienc it you will understand.

Notice also the child had a very small dose also.

    Much love.

  • @ppaappoo12 no, i never had ayahuasca, but i have take many other medicine like hikuri, s.pedro, shrooms and 5-meo dmt (+ potent of dmt). You then say what you want, but the psyche of a child is not yet developed and as you can not somministare drugs or other psychological techniques, so psicdelici of any kind. this is my opinion.

  • @ppaappoo12 true.....but slavia scared the shit out of me

  • @salvadorianroberto you arent the only one buddy lol

  • @punkv00 im sure the tv a child watches here is much better

open up ur eyes where the blind ones

  • you guys have no idea what you are talking about (except domsaleo). This isnt even a drug at all it is a medicine which guides you thoughts and opens your minds. I cannot even began to try and persuade you as you are all naive.....but you are so very, very wrong!

  • @ricothorp

i agree with this post, it is not a drug, but even more important!!! it is not a toy!

if you use it use it with the right intention, ass long s you dont play with ayahuasca, ayahuasca will not play with you! used in the right way it will bring you knowledge, understanding and loooots of love.

  • @ricothorp your such a fucking moron it's hard to begin, Let start with ANYTHING(KEY WORD) that is mind-altering is a drug, so guess what it's a FUCKING DRUG, but doesn't mean it's not a medicine, there is allot of medicines that are drugs.

  • @cheats59 That reductionist view is puritanical bullshit. What you just said is that 'eating, sleeping, breathing, not breathing, not eating, not sleeping, drinking coffee, drinking water' EVERYTHING effects your mind on a subtle level. So living is a drug? Breathing?

Someone isn't dumb because they think yage/ayahuasca is medicine, that's how it's traditionally treated. Anyway I can tell that when your little paradigm (medicine HAS to be drugs) is upset you lose your shit. Don't be scurred!

  • lolz at all these idiots saying lsd is a chemical, so is this shit they mix it with tree bark to get the effect lololoz everything is chemical lol chemicals come from lolozzzz plants lololzzz

  • heeey that song the lady is singing is Simon Diaz's hahaha a traditional venezuelan singer

  • que viva el yagesito! mis respetos a esta planta sanadora llena de sabiduria.

  • bs its a poor mans lsd thats all, nothing more

  • no its a completely different drug

  • @skirbyr Haha, oh how wrong you are....

  • @skirbyr hahaha oh man

    people that prefer chemicals...

  • Just watched the political images integrated around 7:50 again? Why would anyone put Bush and the CIA in an Ayahuasca movie? Seriously disturbing!

  • the best place in Peru is "Spirit Quest". They are very professional. It is safe, quality. There is lots of stories of taking advantage of women, rip offs. This place is recommended :)

  • Why are the political images suddenly integrated around 7:50? We see Bush, CIA, George Washington memorial.

Also the paintings are very dark and fearmongering. Dit anyone notice the Na'vi (Avatar) like people in the painting at 7:23?

I did like the first part of this movie when the people are preparing. I didn't like the 2nd part. Feels like manipulation.

  • Funny you mention Avatar; I was looking this up shortly after watching the movie, and it occured to me that the name of the Na'vi deity "Eywa" sounds a bit reminiscent of Ayahuasca...They also had a Tree of Souls; Ayahuasca is known as the Vine of Souls, and they both seem to serve a similar purpose...

  • You're probably right. I just read about a deleted scene about a visionary ritual where a worm had to be eaten immediately followed up by the sting of a scorpion. Like the two elements of Ayahuasca. Search: heart of the initiate ayahuasca.

I did like the movie Avatar. Though something feels wrong about it. As if it needs to prepare us for the false new age messiah: maitreya. Hollywood new world order manipulation. Like 2012 the movie.

  • Do you remember if they pronounce "Eywa" as "Ayahua"?

    Can't find a movie scene.

  • @MaynardMouse Look at the dvd extended edition and look at what Cameron cut out of the movie..it's exactly the ayahuasca experience but he replaced it in the movie with a snail bite from Pandora..that's how the main charecter became a man between the Na'vi..and you see him with white paint on him...they cut the whole DMT experience out of the movie. Shame..

  • psychedelics are very assosiacted with humans like it or not. it's very peculiar how much influence it has had and why. personally i learn from the holy mushroom. this stuff is unimaginably instense. you need to be wary and prepared. clarity is the key

  • Hey, If you like Salvia Divinorum you should search for " Salvia Divinorum Distribution Project " on here or google to get a free cutting

    cya

  • Interesting drug! Ive read about the effects and properties of Ayahuasca and how it may be linked to the global consciousness of all life and cosmological implications regarding extra terrestials! Would be interested in experiencing this to see for myself!

  • smoke dmt or take mushrooms, its true!...most people don't realize mushrooms have 5-h0-dmt in them and take you to hyperspace on high doses.

  • @actgif68 pscilocin

  • Yeah psilocybin is the active component in mushrooms that is metabolized into psilocin (5-ho-dmt) in the body. Psilocin is also in some mushrooms but usually in lower amounts, my bad for not clarifying.

  • Looks so peaceful

  • Dia dong ding dong..DIA DONG DING DONG..DIA DONG DING DONG! roflmao

  • yes. despite being interesting i's also pretty funny. especially the titty-blow :D

  • We take it to interact with the "Green World" that exists alongside of ours. This way we can interact with other beings that reside there. It is why there are so many morphological statues and the Nazca lines in Central America.

  • i dont like the christian ceremonies

  • BobDog, you shouldn't disparage things you do not understand.

  • there is so much to learn...

  • name of the song please ?

  • Love the icaros this ayahuascero sings, I have a cd of his, would love to experience a ceremony. Maybe one day.

  • i would really love to experience one of these ceremonies, same thing goes with a peyote ceremony. im a little confused on how regular people are invited to these sacraments though. i mean, i live in the bay area and im thinking it wouldnt be as easy as going to peru and just showing up around the time when this takes place (of course i would never just show up expecting to be served ayahuasca, would b very rude). could u or anyone shed a little light on this issue?

  • @jw22345

Hey man u can pay for it like $40usd

  • just be careful of the shaman.... the guide can really make or break the experience.

  • Go to Iquitos. There are loads of shamans there and lots of gringos. Check out Peter Gorman's blog. He's cool as **** and gets tours together. There are others too but I liked his best.

  • you can book them on the internet

  • pretty much is that easy - with a payment, of course. i am in pucallpa, where i turned up and did a ceremony on my second night.

  • @jw22345

same here, most groups are very inviting, you just have to know the right people and express your interest in LEARNING.

  • i would like to use ayahuasca sometime before i die. i guess its on my "bucket list"

  • You're right. They should of all dressed like Aztecs and drank from rocks shaped like cups, or maybe cone shaped leafs would of been better right?..

  • Aztecs is in Mexico, in South America is Incas (sons of the Sun).

  • I was being sarcastic my pot smoking friend.

  • i know, but even sarcasm needs to be historically accurate.

  • What the fuck are you talking about? No it doesn't, well at least not on a youtube comment. Don't over analyze shit buddy.

  • Sorry, its probably a side effect from pot.

  • @BobDogAcl You do know that Ayahuasca is one of the most powerful hallucinogens known to man? It's up there with DMT...

  • How do you make dmt?

  • @HerbalArtist go sleep

  • @HerbalArtist if u wanna know stuff like that i'd search Erowid, but i do know DMT is the chemical your brain produces when dreaming...

  • @HerbalArtist extract it from mimosa bark...look up DMT for the masses

  • These plants are here for a purpose. I believe we should educate ourselves and others of there spiritual benefits.

  • yes! we are not alone!

  • Nice video I like the paintings at the end.

  • Now thats a pipe

  • If only all of those who have the desire to clean the culture out of our brains could have the opportunity...beautiful.

  • if you can get there on the "natch"...by ALL means, share...

  • Face every fear you come across and you're there. But hey we're still humans right ;)

  • Oh ansolutely I agree 100 percent but for some of us this is the closest to enlightenment we may ever get. Many swear by meditation, yoga, fasting, etc, but not all of us can get there by such means, as you said we are indeed are still humans...

  • @TMKchld This is the ONLY means we need to attain enlightenment, the plants are a path to a better future for all life on earth, through the education of man. Man is the only life form on earth that has strayed from the path, and who has the ability to correct the destruction he has brought upon this world.

Only through credibility will this experience take hold, disinformation and propaganda have prevented it from being labelled anything other than a drug induced meaningless mess.

  • @col4022 Well Said...So much knowledge can be attained through plants.

  • @col4022 That...and open communication...the knowledge gained through psychedelics Must be spoken of, and experiences, Shared....we must stop existing on the fringes of society, viewed as scourges.the internet is a wonderful place to do so.I agree on the importance of our credibility.

  • maybe it would be good to leave our western approach with this.

  • Ayahuasca is NOT a drug. It's a medicine. Some people meet aliens, some don't, but almost everybody feel the same sensation of spiritual and even physical healing. It's truly magical. When i did Aya for the first time I spitted/puked out this mad slime (cause I smoke) incredible amounts. Like some healing spirit had entered me and _pushed_ this crap out of me. It works on you like a spirit. It's holy. Respect it, it's magical and very powerful.

  • the plant teacher........ it's so amazing we live in an age where there is actual VIDEO of this on the internet. O_O

  • also do you feel a body buzz at all? I know on shrooms I get physically ill and feel total body numbness and suffer stomach pain. LSD does the same to me minus the stomach pain

  • I got almost no body load with shrooms, but yah it is more likely to give u nausea since shrooms aren't a pure chemical. Still....acid feels kinda speedy....which is why I prefer shroom body feelings more.

Ayahuasca is obviously much more likely to produce intense body discomforts. Which is why if you can get a hold of the pure chemical dmt it would be better....little to no body discomfort there.

  • the dmt is not the teacher, (chakruna) the vine is.

  • Are you referring to the traditional view on this? Of course the plant will be venerated more than the chemical since they don't use chemical terminology to begin with.

  • what does venerated mean? english is not my primal language

  • Venerated means to regard something with reverence or feelings of respect.

  • i wouldnt really call it a body buzz.....you feel your body tense up a bit and then all of a sudden you start changing, and your blasted into seeing everything changing and morphine and your distant, almost like an omniscent observer

  • how dangerous is this drug, is it safe to take? im guessing because of the extreme potency it isnt one of the safest drugs to be taking. Also Id be afraid I might go insane and kill someone if i ever took it

  • jfgi man, if you can youtube it you can google it too

  • First of all, youtube is possibly the absolute WORST place to go for drug advice. Are you really going to trust the words of a bunch of 14-year old faggots who lie about taking immense amounts of drugs which would probably get you killed? Second, you should research drugs by yourself before you try any. try Erowid

  • erowids the best! YOU ALL LISTEN TO THIS MAN

  • its very safe, acid is safe, dmt is safe... after your journey you throw up thats about it bud! do it. its beautiful

  • No dude you don't seem to understand that nearly all psychedelics are very safe in the long run. This includes ayahuasca..however ayahuasca is notorious for being a much more powerful medicine...the body load is much more than lsd or shrooms which is why you have to prepare beforehand...and it can take you more "out there" than acid or shrooms at equal doses. But being more powerful has nothing to do with danger or...wtf.,.killing people? I've never heard of someone killing on psychedelics, lol.

  • no fear i want to trip to!..

  • I bet that tasted horrible...

  • i survived another session of AYAHUASCA. My conclusion, if you don't become mad you'll become a very intelligent human being... i became both!!!

  • I believe there is no difference between the two.

  • my experience with a shaman was amazing!!!

  • 07:00 is that a child ?

  • clearly

  • I appreciate all the responses in regards to the smoke cleansing. Does anyone know why the one man got an oil rub instead of the smoke?

  • It is agua de florida

"Shamans often place perfumes and colognes on the bodies of patients, as crosses on their forehead, chest, and back, whistling a special song of protection, to seal, close, and protect the body." -steve beyer

  • I know the tobacco is ceremonial, but I would rather use cannabis in its place. It seems much more sacred and also it is much more non-toxic....where as blowing that tobacco smoke on your body can bring about cancers.

  • no it cant, our tobacco can because government tobacco is grown with radioactive fertilizers, regular organic tobacco doesnt give cancer.

  • Are you sure about that? If it's not bad for you then great, but I have a huge feeling all tobacco is like this....tobacco sometimes feels real dirty to smoke anyways.

Do you have any peer-reviewed scientific evidence to back up your claims that organic non-industrial tobacco doesn't cause cancer?

  • Yep, Im on my lunch break right now, when i get home for the day ill send it yo you......im not a smoker and have looked into , jsut to elt you know im unbiased about tobacco. Yeah they tons of extra chemicals to government tobacco to make it more addicitve, the main two are cyanide, fermalderhyde

  • You can google tobacco radioactivity and a lot of results will turn up. I agree with you though, I would imagine cannabis to be a better cleanser, but I feel these shaman know much beyond what we do in regards to the plants they use (after all, it's what they do!).

I'm sure organic tobacco is simply less likely to cause cancer as it doesn't contain any carcinogenic additives or radioactive compounds. The simple skin-to-smoke contact will not cause cancer.

  • Well you have to remember that the shamans of the amazon have much less contact with cannabis than tobacco. Tobacco has been around in the new world for thousands of years, where as cannabis was introduced only recently to the new world through european contact. I think if the properties of cannabis were more widely known..it would definitely be preferred over tobacco.

Yeah gonna research tobacco radioactivity. It just may be that the modern industry has screwed up tobacco's natural properties.

  • Regular tobacco smoking (such as pipe smoking) is not harmful. Common cigarettes today, the big brands, are filled with everything and anything to undermine a persons health. This is why cigarette smoking cost the lives of roughly 400,000 people a year in the U.S.

  • Well assuming that even the tobacco grown for modern pipe smoking use was grown using the same methods....it probably is harmful. Maybe organically grown tobacco might be different, but pipe smokers in the US may use the same tobacco.

  • First off, theres mass chemicals in cigs, pipe tobacco is almost always natural, and any flavoring is done by means of curing, or adding natural stuff. Secondly you don't inhale pipe tobacco. You just hold it in your mouth, where its absorbed. With that said, pipe smoking is much safer. However, a pipe smoker is at a higher risk of mouth cancer, since you hold the smoke in your mouth. Although a cig smoker has a moderate risk of mouth cancer and a high risk of lung cancer, which is more fatal.

  • Well some pipe smokers inhale, but yeah generally pipe smoking can be done in the same fashion as cigar smoking.

But yeah, as you put it there is an increase risk of mouth cancers. This is what I think is the problem with tobacco....no matter how you smoke it you will always run the risk of cancers and other health risks.

Which is why it is better to just use cannabis instead of tobacco, since cannabis has been proven to be far safer (ie no cancer with cannabis).

  • Lol, amen to that.

  • I gotta also add a lot of the tobacco they are using is most likely all grown themselves, untreated by pesticides and fertilizers and chemicals.

  • That maybe so, but still cannabis is a much better alternative. It's much more of a spiritual entheogen than tobacco, although high dose tobacco might be more spiritual, dunno.

That giant shaman's pipe that was being used to smoke tobacco was awesome.....now just imagine how awesome it would be if all that tobacco was cannabis instead fo sho! The real spiritual cleansing herb right there.

I personally use mushrooms in place of ayahuasca as well, but that's just my personal choice.

  • yeah shrooms are alot more chill than Ayahuasca but there are so many ways or different plants to make Ayahuasca who knows fosho

  • I wonder though which is more entheogenic/gets u in touch with the mystery more. Mckenna said that ayahuasca covers a more broader spectrum of hallucinations than psilocybin. But still psilocybin is a lot more practical......you just eat the dry little mushrooms and that's all u need to do....where as you have to really prepare for ayahuasca. Not to mention the fact that ayahuasca body load is a lot more than that of psilocybin.

  • i heard tabacco used to be the the most commonly used entheogen among native americans, though they used a much stronger plant then the species now used for commercial smokes.

  • That maybe so, and perhaps in very high doses it can cause some kind of delirium when eaten. Still it's hard to see how it became so popular without the addiction component, of course ritual use of it has nothing to do with addiction. Still when there are so many better alternatives out there I don't see why even to bother with tobacco.

  • i think tobacco contains small amounts of maoi harmala alkaloids and like schrapnellsander says its used sometimes, but i dont know if smoking would work, if it does maybe its a leftover ritual thats no longer necessary.

  • mapacho has a strong spirit :) thats why they use it ;)
