I have the record on file of the video being taped at 4 AM EST. My thought is that the HD Star must have been put on the tape by accident. But the timer is not wrong because I taped another video about 5 or 6 minutes after and it read 4:06 AM EST.

Yup. It's the only way it could be explained (because TWC tapes their show between 12 and 3 AM). The HD STAR also appeared earlier and I was going to try and see if I could get it but my DVR locked up as the LF was rolling.
