I think I have footage of Carlson in a Senior Showboat event (Dick Weber wound up winning) from the late 1980s. Smooth bowler.

That must be the 1987 PBA Showboat Senior Invitational show you're referring to. I believe J.B. Blaylock needed to convert a 10 pin to beat Mr. Weber in the championship game and ended up whiffing it.
