  • I have some weather damage that has caused a cloudy look on the roof of my car. What is your best recommendation in getting it back to normal?

  • Looks Great!

  • Nice video, scary taking wet and dry to a finished painted surface but the end result is better.

  • Where did you get that paint depth gauge and how much was it? I would like to buy one but don't feel like spending hundreds on one.

  • Good sideshow :)

  • every truck should have a wetsanded tailgate. I love seeing my car in the reflection

  • What happens after the polish isnt there? does it become dull?

  • Any tips?

  • Great video. I tried to fix some scratches and heavy chips on my 2011 SS Camaro this last April......I learned slot that weekend LOL.

I bought 2 cans of matched aerosol paint. Some 3M clearcoat with a hardener activator that only lasts 24 hours when activated (not good for rookies). Needless to say Monday morning all was well because I did the whole process times 3, just glad I started Saturday afternoon. • @dalotel I'm having trouble understanding what you are asking.. Are you talking about which LSP I used?

If that is the case, I used a product called P21s Carnauba Concours Wax.

  • im doing an old garden tractor, a 1969 cub cadet 124. can the same techniques be used?

  • @ad356 Assuming that the tractor does not have a clear coat, I would not recommend using this particular technique unless it has been repainted with a clear coat. Try a rubbing compound, polish, and then a wax or sealant. Be careful, and if you are to have questions find us on facebook! Thomas Automotive Detailing

  • Sorry...... Wax, Sealant, and compound will not remove Orange Peel lol

  • thanks for the video! and sick band. love the temper trap. saw them live :)

  • From what i read most Clears are about 1.1 thick to begin, so he took roughly 1/5 of the clear off. I would say thats pretty damn good. I thought it would be closer to 50%

  • nice. i want to try this.

  • identical.

  • The compound used was Wizards Finish Cut. The product is a one step compound, with no polish needed.

I picked up the sanding block at a local paint supply shop.

  • beautiful good video bro

  • what kind of compound was that. where u buy it??

  • hey wassup man! where do you get your sanding block at 1:15? good video btw.
